πŸ“£  A Bit About the Role:

We are looking for a talented Creative Designer (m/f/d) to expand our local Brand & Creative Team. This role will be crucial in building and localizing Butternut Box in Germany. Together with our Brand Manager, you will ensure that Butternut Box is recognized and known in Germany.

We are looking for someone with a strong design background and a versatile skill set. A person who can work confidently across various media and channels to deliver designs that stand out just like our unique fresh meals – we’re different, you know. You will be involved in every step of our creative process, particularly working on our local brand, while also collaborating with the global team. You will have plenty of opportunities to refine your craft and grow while making a significant impact on the visual aesthetics of the local Butternut brand. 🎨 What to Expect in This Role?

  • You will manage creative projects from conception to delivery and everything in between.
  • You will consider customer, brand, and business aspects to develop creative ideas and make design decisions.
  • You will play a crucial role in building our Butternut Box brand in Germany, developing and designing visible, impactful campaigns focused on creative brand and commercial conversion assets, such as:
    • Digital (video content, paid social ads, emails, web banners, etc.)
    • Print (inserts, posters, brochures, signs, merchandise, etc.)
    • OOH advertising
  • You will add value to our customers and enhance their experience by localizing marketing materials or packaging designs through, for example:
    • Exciting, new, and innovative products
    • Expansions of the existing range
    • Our entire unboxing experience
  • You will represent the Butternut brand by ensuring visual consistency and quality through your creative work.
  • You will help us feed more happy and healthy dogs.

  • You have excellent communication skills:
    • Clear and inviting documents are part of your standard repertoire.
    • Expressive in your vision.

  • You enjoy working with others (problem-solving) as well as independently (design implementation).
  • You overcome challenges and manage to expand the creative possibilities with each brief – no matter how big or small.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to juggle various tasks.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • You LOVE dogs.

πŸ”¨ Technical & Creative Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in a design role.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite:

    • AfterEffects / Premier Pro
    • Illustrator
    • InDesign
    • Photoshop & Lightroom
  • The ability to maintain and develop strong visual brand identities through content and design.

  • Good understanding of prepress, packaging, and production processes.

  • Solid knowledge of typography, artwork, and layout.

  • Experience in creating effective creative campaigns.

  • A strong portfolio of your creative work, showcasing versatile design skills and experience in creating designs for various media and channels (print, digital design, campaigns – bonus: video and packaging).
