Creative Operations, Associate
- The salary range for this position is $64000 - $70500 per year. The base salary offered may vary depending on location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
- This is a hybrid in office opportunity with a 4 day in office expectation Mon-Thurs. (This is not a remote role)
As a Creative Operations Associate, you’ll play a key role in streamlining the creative workflow for the Specialty Retail Brands (SRBs) Creative Team. You’ll partner with cross-functional teams including Brand Managers, Content Managers, Marketing Channel Owners, and Leadership to manage creative projects that drive efficiency, elevate quality, and reinforce our brand’s value.
Your focus will be on optimizing how we work: maximizing creative resources, aligning efforts across teams with differing priorities, and delivering brand and content assets that are both effective and data-driven. You'll oversee end-to-end project delivery while contributing to long-term planning and process evolution.
The Creative Operations team is the engine behind the Wayfair Creative Group, ensuring every step, from intake to final delivery, runs smoothly. Our diverse team of project managers, producers, analysts, and QA experts supports a culture of operational excellence, creativity, and innovation. We operate on a monthly planning cycle using Agile-lite methodologies and Airtable.
What You’ll Do
- Strategically allocate creative resources to projects that support business and brand goals
- Manage multiple high-priority projects from kickoff through final delivery
- Create and maintain timelines, track progress, and share status updates
- Identify opportunities to improve workflows using data and cross-functional feedback
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and long-term planning for the Creative team
- Report on Creative KPIs to track performance and uncover areas for growth
- Partner with Creative and Marketing leads to streamline processes and ensure timely, on-brief execution
- Support a culture of learning through retrospectives and knowledge sharing
Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in project management, creative operations, production, or related fields
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience
- Strong written, visual, and verbal communication skills across teams and levels
- Proven ability to collaborate, take initiative, and drive results
- A problem-solving mindset with adaptability in a fast-paced, evolving environment
- Balanced understanding of both creative and business perspectives
- Excellent prioritization and decision-making skills when navigating multiple stakeholder needs
- A team-oriented attitude, with a proactive and forward-thinking approach
