The Community You Will Join: 

Airbnb is looking for a Creative Operations Lead to join Airbnb Creative, our internal, multi-disciplinary team of creatives. Across design, photography, video, experiential, interactive, and social, this team stewards the visual brand and focuses on creating meaningful engagements between our brand and rapidly-growing extended community.

The Difference You Will Make:

The Creative Operations Lead will report to the Senior Creative Operations Lead and is part of the Creative organization at Airbnb. This role will help focus on the production side of operations and build out optimizations for our team, specifically around connection points and overall production budget management. This role will help maintain our yearly production budget and reporting, establish operating models and production processes, establish KPI’s and continue to modify and implement new workflows (i.e. Airtable, etc).  The ideal candidate is highly organized and known for creating processes that ensure projects run successfully, as well as has a strong understanding of tools, budget software, and the best way to create efficiencies within a creative organization without compromising on craftsmanship.

A Typical Day: 

  • Be a highly tactical operator, detail oriented with a passion for tracking, reporting, finding opportunities to improve and building on processes and systems to help mobilize a global team
  • Maintains overall production budget actualization and provides reports to track and forecast year over year spend 
  • Establish and implement a streamlined end-to-end creative and production operations working model (i.e. intake, RACI, production, budget tracking, launch, wrap-up, DAM, etc.) that the team utilizes when developing creative
  • Document key creative and production processes that will allow individuals and teams to easily access guides on how to develop success work at Airbnb
  • Develop a comprehensive bid letter for all production partners that clearly identifies diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) and sustainable initiatives for all projects
  • Establish and identify measurable metrics related to creative production work-streams that allow the team to highlight short-comings and/or achievements related to the process and outcome of the work
  • Develop and implement inclusive and diverse-centric programs and processes across the Creative Production organization, including setting DEI/B (belonging) annual benchmarks and goals and establish processes and programs to achieve success
  • Responsible for driving and managing the production team meetings & gatherings (weekly and monthly) to ensure we elevate hot topics and update project status’ on a regular basis
  • Provides solutions to complex challenges within team needs, specifically where there are pinch points and gaps
  • Runs weekly production onboardings and ensures new talent is equipped with knowledge of all production focused tools 
  • Continue to modify and implement new workflows (eg: Airtable) that enables Producers, Program Managers and Creatives to have a successful workflow in a remote/asyncronous environment
  • Prepares and packages all information regarding budgets and quarterly updates into concise presentation decks with an executive summary format

Your Expertise:

  • 10+ years’ experience working with Marketing, Creative Agencies and Production companies
  • Experience making operational contributions at both strategic and tactical levels
  • Experience developing and optimizing systems, tools, processes, and workflows for creative and production operations
  • Experience supporting changes in operational processes and aligning teams to a strategic vision
  • Process savvy and ability to audit and streamline easy of working into presentation deck format 
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
  • Experience with budget allocation and financial tracking
  • Experience working with global creative teams

Your Location:

This position is US - Remote Eligible. The role may include occasional work at an Airbnb office or attendance at offsites, as agreed to with your manager. Our job titles may span more than one career level. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, benefits, and Employee Travel Credits.  

Pay Range$155,000—$200,500 USD
