Pinterest’s renowned House of Creative team is looking for a Sr. Creative Resource Manager to join our Creative Ops team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about bringing out the best in our creative talent and ensuring our team's capacity meets the demands of our diverse projects. The Creative Resource Manager will oversee the allocation of resources, optimize workflows, and support the overall operation of our creative process.

What you’ll do:

  • Resource Allocation: Manage and optimize the allocation of creative resources, ensuring that projects are appropriately staffed and deadlines are met. Collaborate closely with Creative Leads and Producers to understand project needs and skills required.
  • Capacity Management: Monitor the team's workload and capacity, providing insights on resource availability and identifying bottlenecks to improve operational efficiency.
  • Field all new and known project requests and partner with Creative Ops, Producers and Creative Leads to recommend resourcing solutions in a resource-constrained environment.
  • Scheduling: Refine and maintain a comprehensive scheduling system that tracks resource availability and allocations in real time.
  • Collaboration: Partner closely with Creative Ops, Program Management, Production and Creative Leads to respond to resourcing requests and allocate resources across projects. Act as liaison between creative team and cross-functional partners with regards to resource allocations.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of resource allocation and project progress, providing regular reports on capacity and utilization metrics to help inform strategic decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and refine resourcing processes, identifying opportunities to enhance workflow efficiency and team collaboration. 
  • Identify potential gaps in skills and capabilities within the team. 
    • Manage our database of external talent, including freelancers and agencies/production partners 
    • Tap into your network of creative talent.
  • Support for Creative Ops: Assist the Head of Creative Ops with various operational tasks, including onboarding new team members, training sessions, and operational documentation.
  • Drive strong communication with our broad range of XFN partners including: Business Marketing, Consumer Marketing, Comms and Product Marketing.
  • Partner with Head of Creative Ops, Program Management, Production and Creative Leadership.

What we’re looking for: 

  • 5+ years of experience in resource management and/or operations within a creative or marketing environment. Preferably with experience as part of an in-house creative team. 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing + Communication, Fine Art, a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Familiarity with creative processes and terminology across various disciplines, including design, writing, video, and experiential marketing.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across teams and influence without authority.
  • Proficient in project management and resource management software (e.g., Smartsheets Resource Management, Asana, etc.).
  • A proactive problem-solver with a keen eye for detail and a passion for optimizing creative workflows.

In-Office Requirement Statement

  • We let the type of work you do guide the collaboration style. That means we're not always working in an office, but we continue to gather for key moments of collaboration and connection.
  • This role will need to be in the office for in-person collaboration 1-2 times every 6-months and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
