Senior Creative Video Producer 

Job Description

The Senior Creative Video Producerat Lilium Brand & Design Department combines the responsibilities and skills of a creative director, videographer, and photographer. This senior-level position involves coordinating and planning both external and internal productions while remaining hands-on with the production process. The ideal candidate is not too proud to take on the camera (for both film 90% and photo 10%) to produce high-quality content on a low budget. This includes editing and post-production tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee all Lilium video and photo projects from small-scale in-house productions to high-budget commercial shoots, encompassing all stages of pre- and post-production.
  • Work closely with the Brand & Design Team on new, design-driven ideas for company branding, promotional campaigns, and marketing communications. Collaborate with multiple creative and technical departments, especially the Communication Team, and coordinate with external partners such as suppliers, media companies, agencies, and freelancers.
  • Create briefings, visual concepts, workflows, and aesthetic guidelines for suppliers. Design assets and video graphic elements that align with Lilium brand requirements.
  • Scout, suggest, and hire supplying partners, including freelancers, agencies, and production companies. Ensure they meet Lilium’s standards and budget constraints.
  • Work autonomously on multiple projects with tight deadlines across various image-related formats, such as social media video content, event videos, video press kits, and presentations.
  • Design and pitch creative solutions, shape the creative vision, and communicate ideas and concepts to team members and superiors.
  • Manage a growing asset library by indexing and tagging content in an organized and accessible manner.
  • Produce, direct, and finalize small in-house productions as a one-person videographer and photographer. This includes the entire media creation process, such as lighting, sound recording, editing, grading, image retouching, and video graphics.
  • If the scale of the project requires more than one person on set, direct other camera operators or small film crews.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a similar role combining creative direction, videography, and photography.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • Proficient in video and photo production techniques, including lighting, sound recording, editing, and grading.
  • Ability to create compelling visual concepts and effectively convey creative ideas.
  • Strong organizational skills for managing asset libraries and maintaining project documentation.
  • Hands-on experience with production and editing software.
  • A portfolio demonstrating a range of video and ideally also photo projects.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of current trends in video and photo production.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and their specific content requirements.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
