What you’ll be spending your time on:  

  • Routinely monitor the portfolio by analyzing performance and risk trends, identifying and assessing potential risks that could impact the portfolio. 
  • Provide insights and recommendations to improve the underwriting process, addressing gaps and anomalies within the credit risk procedures. 
  • Conduct detailed analyses and deliver data-driven insights related to credit risk. 
  • Perform research and analysis to adjust the portfolio based on risk and business needs, ensuring optimized originations while maintaining portfolio quality and resilience. 
  • Enhance portfolio credit risk visibility by creating additional reports and dashboards to highlight current and potential risks. 
  • Review merchant credibility and repayment ability, providing credit risk recommendations 
  • Collaborate with various teams and departments to enhance credit risk-related tools and processes, improving data visibility and monitoring mechanisms. 
  • Strong collaboration with internal teams across the globe.

Have you done this kind of stuff?

  • 3-4 years of experience in a similar role within the online Risk space (credit risk, fraud, AML).
  • B.A. in Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • At least 3 years of experience with data research.
  • Proven advanced SQL skills.
  • Strong command of Excel and other MS Office Suite tools.
  • Excellent analytical and data-driven skills.
  • Highly motivated with a can-do approach, pays attention to small details, and yet sees the big picture.
  • Ability to work independently with a strong drive for results.
  • Sharp communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.

Not a must but a great advantage:

  • Experience in monitoring & reviewing risk related to SMBs lending
