Location:Cheshire, England, United Kingdom (Required on-site with client 1 days per week)

 

ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Copywriter will marry their conceptual thinking and copycraft with CRM and performance marketing chops to create multi-channel integrated campaigns.

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

You will be a key member of our client team of 10 – partnering closely with our designers and art director and you will report to our ACD.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • You’ll be the clients’ trusted copy partner – guiding consistency of their tone of voice across every touch point and every project to generate engaging, customer-focused and relationship building marketing comms 
  • And you’ll bring this TOV to life through all CRM and performance advertising channels – including email, direct mail, brochures, leaflets, web, and display advertising 
  • The role is conceptually creative too – and you’ll be regularly ideating with the strategy and creative teams, as well as being upstream with your clients 
  • With your experience, you’ll instinctively take ownership of continually understanding the target audience and competitor products and seek to share proactive thinking in the best interests of the brand 

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • ou have a portfolio of work that showcases integrated creativity across a number of sectors – digital and print. Bonus points for awards.  
  • Your campaigns will demonstrate where you have taken a creative platform and amplified this appropriately for a given channel. Ideally, within B2C and retail sectors. 
  • The ability to write on-brand customer-focused creative copy that delivers a consistent tone of voice – and you’ll have some enviable headlines in your book 
  • An understanding of the principles for effective direct marketing. 
  • Experience working with data as a trigger to drive deeper customer engagement in your creative work through innovative personalisation. 
  • You’re a great communicator, collaborator, and relationship builder. You enjoy working as part of a team but can also confidently work independently. 
  • You have experience working in fast-paced environments, with the ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple jobs effectively. 
  • You keep up to date with emerging cultural trends and the latest best practice across social media platforms. As well as a keen interest in AI.
