We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated CRM Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing our CRM operations and ensuring the successful execution of our CRM strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in people management, coding highly-personalized emails, collaborating with engineering teams, and experience with marketing automation tools and technologies.

Job Location: Remote EST or CST

This role is a remote position in the United States with a preference for east coast and central time zones. Occasional travel to company offices as necessary.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage a team of CRM specialists to ensure the successful implementation and execution of our CRM strategies
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members to support their growth and development
  • Code mobile responsive HTML/CSS email templates that include scripting to achieve complex dynamic content
  • Support building the Customer Lifecycle Management framework in our marketing automation tool
  • Work with Data Engineering to integrate data into new marketing templates
  • Work with the Marketing and Ops teams to gather campaign requirements
  • Write technical specs, test and execute on email programs as per Ops team’s priorities
  • Identify opportunities to optimize our CRM processes and workflows, working with stakeholders to implement changes as needed

Skills & Experience 

  • 4+ years of experience in CRM operations with increasing responsibility, including people management, collaboration with engineering teams, and a high-level of expertise in email marketing technology and practices
  • 2+ years email-specific HTML & CSS expertise (must be able to code from scratch)
  • Extensive knowledge of scripting to achieve complex dynamic content (we currently use Jinja and HubL, but experience in other scripting languages will work)
  • Enterprise email service provider experience, HubSpot preferred
  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with a track record of developing and leading high-performing teams
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a clear, methodological approach to problem solving
  • Outstanding verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Strong time-management skills and ability to prioritize
