As a Culinary Analyst you will build tools and dashboards to support our Culinary & Product Development Teams, run self-service analyses, compile regular reporting on key KPIs and conduct regular and systematic analyses to improve our recipe performance and product offering.

We are looking for a data driven foodie who will make HelloFresh better.  As a Culinary Analyst you will work in a fast-moving, data-led decision-making environment, with passionate people as you play an important role in changing the way people eat, forever.

You will...
  • Create and maintain tools and dashboards in Tableau or Excel to support self-service insights into Culinary performance
  • Extract and analyze data and draw actionable insights to enable decision making on the key questions facing all areas of Culinary performance and operations
  • Translate recipe related data into compelling stories in order to drive change in the team and business
  • Analyze and report on the performance of recipes within menus and any relevant KPIs
  • Be confident supporting and challenging team members in the ideation, implementation and review of data-related requests
  • Monitor, analyze and report on any ongoing Culinary projects to support driving customer retention and profitability 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in the business in order to produce a comprehensive analysis of a problem
  • Be in charge of last-minute changes to existing recipes due to ingredient changes & cooking guideline changes. Thus, you will be responsible for modifying the ingredients in the impacted recipes and reflecting this change on the paper and liaising with Editorial to update digital cards. Then, you will evolve in the heart of our kitchen, testing the recipes created by our creators.

  • Have strong writing skills. You have an eagle eye. For you, there's nothing like having your nose in cooking recipes all day long, whether it's behind a counter top or with your editor's hat. Flexible, you know how to deal with the unexpected while being a guarantor of effective communication. The consumer is always at the center of your concerns! If you're looking for a unique opportunity halfway between the culinary world and the world of literature, then this is the place to be. You will be in charge of proofreading Developer recipes at multiple stages throughout their life cycle. This includes when the recipes are first delivered to Menu Planning and after Editorial has created Recipe Cards for a final proofreading. This is for accuracy of recipe, ingredients, tags and photography accuracy. 
  • Deliver recipes to Menu Planning weekly.
  • Present NRHR weekly.
  • Test recipes designed by our culinary creators in our kitchen 
  • Participate in various projects (optimization of instructions, launch of new culinary concepts, etc.)   
  • Update documents, chronicling Culinary’s deliverables, Briefs assigned and sent to Menu Planning weekly. 
You have...
  • A deep understanding of numbers and analytics as well as a very strong business sense
  • Excellent food and cooking knowledge
  • Excellent hands-on knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets, Tableau and SQL
  • Passion about the ability for data to change a business and how numbers can be transformed into key product insight
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • The ability to document analyses and learnings in a clear and concise way, and present them to key stakeholders
  • The ability to manage a project from start to finish and deliver on time
  • A passion for HelloFresh and the desire to be part of an extremely fast-paced business
