We’re looking to add a highly motivated Specialist to our Customer Education and Enablement team. This position lives in the Digital Transformation Practice Group, a team mandated with helping our customers transform their operations as quickly and effectively as possible through consultation and education, and reports to the Customer Education and Enablement Lead. This is a generalist role, and our ideal candidate is someone who’s interested in contributing to a full range of educational programs, from eLearning content production to ILT to written enablement to community programs. We need someone who’s excited to jump in and help us build a best-in-class, growth-focused educational machine. This role will be great for someone looking for a high degree of impact and ownership in an industry-leading, rapidly scaling organization. Successful candidates in this role will have the opportunity to grow as a generalist or pursue a more specialized track over time.  

 About You:

  • You think creatively about when, how, and where to surface learning content. You think deeply about what particular users need to be successful at each stage of their journey
  • You take an outcome-based approach to education. You can identify a business or user need, and design educational experiences to address it

What skills do I need?: 

  • Ability to create learning content across a variety of media 
  • A solid understanding of adult learning best practices 
  • Superlative communication skills 
  • Ability to independently manage learning projects from end to end
  • Strong research skills, with an ability to source information from internal SMEs, customers and partners, data, and a savvy Google search
  • Understanding of manufacturing concepts and processes. You don’t need to be an engineer by training, but you will need to speak knowledgeably with customers, SMEs, and other practitioners
  • A knack for learning and teaching technical concepts

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become an expert in the Tulip platform
  • Design and produce instructional materials, including but not limited to eLearning courses, short video tutorials, written how-to guides, webinars, and enablement material
  • Identify opportunities for new learning content or programs and proactively pursue them
  • Collaborate with SMEs to scope, design, and test training
  • Analyze program performance against key business and learning targets
  • Contribute periodic reporting on learning programs
  • Manage content across its lifecycle
  • Learn and keep abreast of key trends and developments in advanced manufacturing

Nice-to-Haves

  • A portfolio of learning materials showcasing eLearning, documentation, or community programs
  • A background in mechanical or industrial engineering, or experience in advanced manufacturing (even a strong interest in manufacturing is a bonus)
  • Experience at a scaling SaaS organization 
  • An understanding of basic software development concepts, or basic proficiency in a programming language
