As a Localization Manager, you are responsible for the Customer Experience localization strategy, partnering with the other localization teams to align on the company-wide globlalization strategy and priorities. You will be responsible for the Customer Experience current localization processes and tools, and create scalable and efficient processes that can be applied for our new markets.You will develop and execute a localization strategy that enable the teams depending on localization to achieve their short and long term goals, ensuring alignment with the overall company vision.

Role Responsibilities: What you'll do

  • Develop Localization Strategy: Create and implement a comprehensive localization strategy for the Customer Education team and Customer Experience department, aligning with company-wide localization efforts.

  • Manage Translation Processes: Oversee all translation processes, ensuring they are cost-effective, efficient in terms of capacity usage and scalable as we expand to new markets.

  • Administrate Translation Tools: Manage and iterate on translation tools, including machine translation and AI-based localization solutions, to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

  • Maintain Consistency: Ensure consistency in terminology, tone, and style across different languages and regions to uphold brand integrity.

  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all localized content complies with local regulations and legal requirements.

  • Cross-Departmental Alignment: Collaborate with localization functions across different departments to develop a unified company-wide localization strategy.

Role Requirements: What you need to succeed

  • Degree in Localization, Translation, Linguistics, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in localization management, preferably within a global organization.

  • Experience with technical content localization.

  • Strong understanding of translation tools, machine translation, and AI-based localization solutions.

  • Experience with the Phrase tool is a plus.

  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Good communication and collaboration skills to work across various departments and regions.

  • German fluent preferred.
