Your Role

Become part of our team at HelloFresh and take on the role of Manager Operational Excellence Engineering (m/f/x) at our production site in Barleben, near Magdeburg. In this position, you will lead a team of Operational Excellence Engineers and drive continuous improvements in our company’s efficiency and competitiveness. You will optimize operational processes, practices, and capabilities to not only meet but exceed our business goals and customer expectations. Working alongside leaders from various departments, you will foster a culture of continuous improvement and further develop both people and processes to make the company future-ready.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead site-wide strategic change initiatives and cross-functional improvement projects to enhance site performance and overall effectiveness.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma methodologies and structured problem-solving techniques to drive improvements within the company. Coach and support individuals and departments in methods like Lean, problem-solving, and performance management to implement best practices.
• Identify opportunities to improve operational KPIs in a strategic and systematic manner using Lean and World-Class Manufacturing methodologies.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with other departments at all levels to identify and resolve issues, share best practices, and drive continuous improvement across the organization.
• Ensure that all operational processes support the delivery of high-quality products and services to customers.
• Coach, develop, and support team members to build their capabilities and create robust development plans for individuals and the team. Provide the necessary support and training to upskill each individual and enable them to deliver their projects to the highest standard.

Your Profile

• Degree in a relevant field
• Proven experience in leading and managing cross-functional change projects
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Relevant experience in performing advanced data analysis with tools like Excel, Google Sheets, Grafana, Tableau, and using the data to influence business decisions
• Strong prioritization and analytical thinking skills
• Project management experience
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced production environment
• Strategic thinking to analyze physical processes versus system functionality
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with other departments, up to senior manager level
• Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with key stakeholders
• Fluent in both German and English, written and spoken
