Prosek's Apprentice Program offers post graduate students the opportunity to launch their careers in certain areas of interest. Our 6-month program is designed to train the next generation of agency professionals.

We are in search of a talented apprentice to join our fast-growing data & analytics (DNA) team at Prosek. We are looking for a self-starter interested in how data and insights guide storytelling and strategy, solve client challenges, and measure impact.

Our team is made up of intellectually curious researchers, data analysts, writers, creatives, strategists, and counselors. We get to work with many of the largest and most recognizable global financial brands and help them navigate the always-evolving world of digital marketing and communications.

Program Overview and Responsibilities

Real Work Experience

Prosek Apprentices will:

Administrative

• Work alongside DNA team members and integrated internal Prosek account teams to support various data-related requests.
• Understand data sources and systems to ensure data integrity and accuracy.

Data Analytics

• Utilize social listening, media monitoring and measurement, and analytics tools: Talkwalker, Signal AI, Tagger, SEMrush, etc. for various analyses.
• Perform deep dive analyses on data from multiple sources to identify opportunities for clients, spot trends, and measure performance.

Primary Research

• Support in the execution of quantitative and qualitative research projects, including but not limited to, online surveys, focus groups, in-depth interviews, and online communities

Reporting

• Understand and assist with presenting results and data-driven narratives in focused, actionable and compelling ways.

Internal Network and Support

We invest heavily into the growth and support for our Prosek Apprentices, pairing each Apprentice with a manager and a mentor.

• Managers are responsible for identifying their Apprentice's strengths, areas for development and interests to ensure they're given the right tools to succeed.
• Mentors help provide support as they acclimate to a new environment and corporate culture.

The goal of Prosek's Development Program is to develop Apprentices into Assistant Account Executives by the end of the program.

Experience and Qualifications

• Completed BS/BA degree by the start of the program.
• A demonstrated interest in how data informs marketing communications strategy and results.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Curiosity and a desire to learn.
• Ability to conduct analysis and understand the value of measurement
• Strong knowledge of statistics principles and familiarity in using statistics in a real-world setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Possess a team player mindset and willingness to work collaboratively
• Have solid research and critical thinking skills along with strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Extreme attention to detail is a must.
• Strongly encouraged (but not required) to have prior data and analytics internship(s).

NYC Salary: $20.00/hour
