Charlotte, NC, USA

We are looking to hire an Analyst to join our AI Products division. Formed in 2022, we are charged with building AI-powered solutions that change how our teammates operate, how our brands go to market, and how we show up for our customers and partners. We’re incubating applications that are step changing how we produce media, personalize our users’ experience, and converse with our customers across many touch points. Our team is responsible for both building the underlying technology and applying these applications to business opportunities across the Red Ventures portfolio. We’re a growing team made up of a mix of data scientists, machine learning engineers, analytics engineers, software engineers, designers, editorial, product managers and analysts.

You will be responsible for maximizing the value of our product suite by driving adoption with our brands and partners. Our delivery team operates in two ways. (1) We collaborate with brands to build new, customized consumer-facing applications that are powered by our AI/ML product suite to reimagine digital interactions. (2) We take over portions of the current consumer flow and apply the AI/ML suite to optimize core business metrics. You will work directly with our own designers and developers to drive implementation while working with our product teams to identify core features and functionality that should be added to the underlying suite of tools. You will have the opportunity to customize solutions and value propositions for business specific use cases as you see fit.

This role will have a high level of visibility across the industry groups. You will be an important contributor on a strategic workstream with multiple stakeholders as you build business and customer value. Your contribution to the organization will be multifaceted – we are looking for someone who has a strong technical and analytical critical thinking foundation and has experience influencing and driving business decisions through collaboration and influential communication.

What You'll Do

  • Contribute across the lifecycle of our new applications and experiences that leverage our AI/ML solutions across different brands and partners. This represents ideation, opportunity scoping, roadmap building, implementation, optimization, and communication.
  • Own explanation of “what happened’, “why it happened”, and “now what” for large workstreams through deep analysis and analytical critical thinking, communicating out findings and recommendations to technical & non-technical stakeholders.
  • Partner with product managers, engineers, and data scientists to bring recommendations to life and implement them in our customer journeys to drive KPI movement, measuring impact of proposed changes
  • Build and launch custom data components for application-specific needs – this may come in the form of visualizations, notebooks, and/or algorithms
  • Mentor Jr. analysts on the team and those we’re partnering with in both technical and consultative skillsets

What We're Looking For

  • Demonstrated ability to drive business decisions and behavior changes through advanced analytics capabilities
  • Demonstrated ability to help identify areas of opportunity where ML/AI could be applied
  • Demonstrated experience in data-related programming languages (e.g. SQL, Python, or R)
  • Demonstrated experience working with a consultative mindset - identifying problem, providing solutions, and being able to act against that solution
  • Demonstrated willingness and desire to learn how to unblock yourself from tasks outside of your traditional scope to drive broader impact
  • An entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen and are capable of coming up with data-driven ideas to create value for consumers and business partners
  • Strong technical and analytical foundation that enables you to communicate effectively with data scientists, understand relevant algorithms, and explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to identify and focus on the activities that will drive the largest lift to targeted metrics
  • Bonus: You’ve experimented using Generative AI or traditional machine learning technologies to enhance efficiency in your day to day workflow or on personal projects.
