But to do that, we need data! That’s where Analytics comes in - you’ll contribute to us measuring, uncovering insights, and predicting, to get data everywhere in Trustpilot. As a Data Analyst at Trustpilot, you will collaborate with Trusties in our B2C product squads and spend your time digging through our data to provide them with data-driven insights, as well as analytics and dashboards/reporting.  You’re keen to contribute to the use data to answer their toughest questions, and you can proactively identify areas that need a little data support. You’ll be an internal data consultant, with loads of amazing data in our data warehouse at your fingertips, working with analytical tools including BigQuery, Looker, Amplitude and DBT.

As a B2B company, we’ve built a wonderful product, so that our customers can get the most out of Trustpilot by interacting with and learning from their own customer base. For this role, we need your contribution in running analyses, creating user funnels and running A/B tests, to roll out the best possible products and also understand how our customers currently use the platform. You’ll be integral in identifying gaps in the product, to ensure the team deliver new and exciting features and assess the effectiveness of the current ones.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Delivering analytics and insights to different parts of the business, through both workstream initiatives and ad-hoc inquiries
  • Working closely with the B2C product squads to understand their data and their goals to deliver awesome solutions
  • Building reports and dashboards in Looker and Amplitude to enable tracking of our product’s performance
  • Support on ad-hoc analyses and A/B tests to help your squad with complex product decisions
  • Presenting and promoting your work to the wider business, to enable data-informed decisions

Who you are:

  • A curious, self-motivated individual, enthusiastic about using data to help inform product decisions
  • Prior experience with at least one key analysis and statistical methodologies, such as model-based analyses (regression, clustering etc.), cohort analysis or A/B testing
  • Prior experience building dashboards and delivering actionable insights leveraging BI tools (such as Looker, Tableau etc.)
  • Good SQL skills and preferably some experience with Python or R for data analysis
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
