We’re looking for a talented and dedicated Data Analyst who will be a part of the Core Solutions Data group.

As part of this role, you will help us process rich and complicated datasets. Will explore and validate new features and data sources. Be part of the data science and data engineering force creating new features for our solution. 

What does the day-to-day of a Data Analyst (Data Research) at Similarweb look like:

• You will work in a data research team alongside other data engineers, data scientists and data analysts. Together you will tackle complex data challenges and bring new solutions and algorithms to production.
• Apply your expertise in quantitative analysis and data mining to turn data into insights.
• Understand the customers needs, evaluate the quality of our features and communicate the results.
• Conduct research and develop tools that will ensure the quality of Similarweb’s data and algorithms.
• Utilize your deep understanding of Similarweb’s data in order to evaluate and improve novel algorithms produced by the data scientists in your team.
• Partner with Big Data Engineers to establish an infrastructure to scale solutions.

What will I bring to the team?

• Passionate about data.
• Holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science/Mathematics/Physics/Engineering or any other relevant field - Required
• At least 1 years experience in Python scripting - Must
• Experience with SQL for data analysis -Must
• Knowledge and understanding of the statistical principles, concepts, methods, and standards- Must
• Excellent communication skills (in English) with the ability to provide constant dialog between and within data teams.
• Hadoop/Spark/AWS Infrastructure experience - Big Advantage
• Ability to visualize data and experience with a visualization tool and modules (mlplot, matplolib, sns) - Big Advantage
