In this role, you will collaborate with market leadership to identify key business challenges, build data models, create reports and dashboards, and provide advanced analysis and actionable insights that drive growth in new geographies. Your role will be critical as a strategic business partner, a key member of our data team, and an active contributor to the ongoing development of our analytics chapter.

What you'll do:

  • Build efficient data models to track sales performance and key KPIs, from marketing spend to product activation, including metrics like estimated revenue and lifetime value.
  • Leverage data to perform analysis and deliver actionable recommendations that shape program design, operations, and strategy.
  • Collaborate with Market leadership and the Global Expansion team to set performance targets, define KPIs, create scalable reporting systems, and provide insights into the drivers of progress against goals.
  • Develop advanced dashboards to enable self-service analytics for local operational teams, business development, and SumUp Leadership.
  • Drive strategic data OKRs aligned with SumUp's business objectives, such as small merchant segmentation and analysis.
  • Partner with Analytics Engineers to ensure that data is accurately collected, stored, processed, and accessible for analysis.

Youโ€™ll be great for this role if you have:

  • 1-3 years of analytical experience in a high-growth tech company or top management consulting firm, with at least 1 year in data analytics and model design (experience with dbt and Git is a plus).
  • Hands-on experience developing advanced dashboards, ideally using Tableau, and following industry best practices.
  • The ability to translate Sales, GTM, and operational needs into KPIs, insights, data models, and dashboards.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, capable of identifying trends and key insights from complex data, with excellent communication skills and a strategic mindset for collaborating with GTM leadership.
  • Highly analytical mindset, able to apply quantitative analysis and logical reasoning to drive business results.
