The Challenge
Responsible for providing information and insights into customers, competitors, markets and promotional effectiveness to measure performance and shape business decisions. The ideal candidate will act as an analytics translator with extensive data interpretation and visualization experience and should be able to clearly communicate insight and findings to senior management and external partners.
What You’ll Take On
- Have a role in preparing analytics for the commercial strategy teams including:
- Collect, compile and analyze product sales data
- Drive analyses and discussion about promotional performance; conduct regular assessments of performance vs. projections and communicate results internally
- Provide comparative performance analytics across all digital distribution platforms, including console, PC, tablets, mobile and other devices
- Provision of weekly, monthly and ad-hoc reports at the request of the strategy teams/management
- Track new release sales performance and provide executive summaries to the company
- Create anomaly detection and tracking systems for reporting
- Provide price elasticity analysis to determine product lifecycle decisions
- Create and maintain dashboards for executive-level use
- Develop and maintain a sound knowledge of the Global video game market and trends
- Provide a value-add service by building strategic alliances within T2 and between its partners (1st party platforms, market research firms, etc.)
- Participate as a key member of various cross-departmental teams tasked with upgrading Take-Two’s data infrastructure & governance
What You Bring
- 1-3 years of experience in data analysis or related field
- BA/BS degree; preferable in business, statistics, math or an applied quantitative field
- Interest and experience in diving into large sets of data and seeking out the right information to tell the story
- Strong written and verbal presentation skills, with experience presenting information to an array of internal and external stakeholders
- Video game or related entertainment industry experience preferred
- Experience in thriving in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders
- Sets clear priorities to optimally complete work tasks, allocating resources efficiently
- A motivated self-starter with a desire to contribute and shape the business
Technical Requirements:
- Required
- Excel skills (e.g., VLOOKUP, SUMIF, etc.)
- Visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Matplotlib, D3)
- Preferred
- SQL, R, Python, or other programming languages

The pay range for this position in New York City at the start of employment is expected to be between $69,900 and $103,440 per Year. However, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment. If hired, employee will be in an 'at-will position' and the company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation or benefit program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
This role is hybrid from our New York City location and requires in-office 3 times a week.
