YOUR ROLE Hello, we are Workpath, a B2B startup founded in Munich with employees all over Germany and Spain. We want companies and teams to work as effectively and inspired as possible. This is why we built a platform which streamlines goal setting, enables autonomous teams and simplifies cross collaboration.   We are looking for a Data Analytics Engineer (f/m/d) to join a team of Data Analysts, Product Managers & DevOps Engineers. Your mission would be to build data models, maintain data pipelines and visualize data in Tableau in order to guide customers to take the right decisions and discover interesting insights. We already have some software engineers in Madrid, but accept candidates from anywhere in Spain. • Challenge the concepts and data queries presented to you in order to make the best out of it for the customers
• Define, create and document new dashboards that can add new value to our Analytics Suite product
• Clean, transform and process our data to gain insights from it
• Manage our databases and storage solutions
• Maintain our pipelines for data transformation
• Actively work on and own pieces of work in a combination of operative and strategic settings, such as conceptualizing and executing reports, defining formats and service products, working on strategic frameworks or support in setting up processes for our growing team
• Further develop our analytics principles and standards of clean data structures & visualizations, efficiency and maintainability

YOUR PROFILE

• 2+ years working experience building data visualization (we use Tableau, so that is nice to have)
• 2+ years working experience with SQL data modelling (dbt and version control systems like Git is plus)
• Good expertise in Python
• Experience having worked with data pipelines
• Nice to have - Experience in our data stack: Airflow; Dbt; Metabase; AWS/Cloud, at least basics like S3, RDS; Docker
• Demonstrated ability to ensure data integrity and accuracy through regular quality checks
• Hands on mindset and ability in regards to creating and producing output (e.g. presentations, concepts, reports etc.)
• Previous working experience in fast paced environment
• You feel comfortable with taking ownership for independent projects
• Good communication & presentation skills in English
