Data Curation Operations is a team which supports all ongoing curation projects for Mapping and other teams at Lyft. Our mission is to improve customer experience in Lyft products by providing high-quality, comprehensive, and efficient data curation operations. 

In this role, you will work closely with the engineering and product teams on defining policies, processes, and operational workflows for curation projects. Responsibilities:
  • Creates and maintains project documentation within a defined curation area, including policies, processes, and best practices.   
  • Continuously improves and enhances processes and team efficiency within the owned curation area.
  • Conducts regular analysis, monitoring, and reviews of the existing documentation to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Manages the training process end-to-end including creation of training plans, facilitation of the training meetings, and evaluation of the progress. 
  • Manages piloting and new project launches in cooperation with team leaders, with manager’s support.
  • Collaborates with team leaders to ensure that all team members and vendors understand and comply with company policies and work procedures.   
  • Contributes to a system for evaluating training effectiveness, incorporating feedback from participants and stakeholders.
  • Maintains strong relationships with key stakeholders to define policies and operational workflows that meet project expectations.   
  • Stays informed about the work of key stakeholders, tracking new developments and sharing relevant intelligence with colleagues.
Experience & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s/Master’s degree or equivalent 
  • 1+ years of experience in managing training processes and developing documentation for operational teams (data curation, customer service, or similar).
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills with attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with modern learning methodologies (e.g., microlearning, blended learning, interactive and virtual training methods) and the ability to adapt content for different employee levels and multicultural teams.
  • Ability to define policies and operational workflows that meet project expectations, monitor and assess policies, and quickly adapt to changes.
  • Passion for delivering great customer experiences with a strong track record. Analytical mindset with problem-solving abilities.
  • Self-directed and organized, comfortable with ambiguity, and able to prioritize multiple competing tasks. Takes initiative and knows when to ask for support.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Ukrainian, with the ability to adapt communication style for different stakeholders and proactively share updates.
  • Comfortable learning and using new processes, systems, and tools, including data labeling tools and Google Workspace products.

Nice to have

  • Project/process management experience, including planning, coordination, and monitoring of training programs.
  • Background in mapping, cartography and any related fields. Experience using Open Street Map. 
  • Experience with data entry or data labeling
  • Experience working with vendors and partners
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence

This role is fully remote in Ukraine, candidates for this role must be based in Ukraine.
