Data QA Engineer
Our Data Team is looking for Data QA Engineers, who will be part of a brand new Data QA Engineering team for ensuring reliable and accurate data.
The WowThe Data QA Engineer is a key role in the application and implementation of the data quality specific aspects within the data governance strategy. This role is vital for ensuring reliable and accurate data.

A taste of what you will be involved in- Develop and maintain data quality monitoring frameworks using the latest trends, technologies, standards, and best practices to uphold the integrity of our data assets.
- Generate insightful reports, and support Data Stewards in validation and quality assurance.
- Design and develop automated data quality validation scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and reliability of data.
- Define and monitor key data quality metrics through data profiling and communicate performance to stakeholders.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of our data products to identify and address weaknesses in data quality coverage.
- Conduct root cause analysis of data quality issues and work closely with the data engineering team and data stewards to resolve discrepancies, provide detailed feedback, and drive continuous improvement.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in the field of data quality, with a focus on data quality implementation and monitoring.
- Experience in defining and implementing data quality controls.
- Strong understanding of data quality methodologies, standards, best practices, and techniques for comprehensive data coverage.
- Passion for data quality and development to ensure the best possible experience for our users.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and debug complex data issues.
- Familiarity with data privacy regulations, including GDPR, and data security standards.
- Experience in the iGaming industry is considered a plus.
- Degree or equivalent certification in a related field is considered a plus.
- ISTQB qualification is considered a plus.
- Strong experience in SQL and Python.
- Experience with Selenium or similar testing tool.
- Familiarity with Data Integration tools such as Apache NiFi and orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow.
- Experience with data quality and data governance tools and methodologies, including data validation and profiling.
- Proficiency with documentation platforms like Confluence.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly document and communicate data quality results and issues.
- Excellent collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with business, tech, and data engineering teams, and lead working groups.
