YOUR MISSION

As a Data Visualization Specialist for Glovo Ads, you will enhance Glovo’s advertising solutions for Partners and Brands by creating visualizations that demonstrate the effectiveness and value of advertising on our platform. You will enable data-driven decision-making by analyzing and visualizing data from our partners and brands to support their investment and growth. Your work will influence thousands of advertisers and hundreds of colleagues globally as part of the Ads Team at Glovo HQ. You will play a crucial role in delivering our Ads business plan, directly contributing to the company's performance worldwide.

THE JOURNEY

In this pivotal role, you will:

 

  • Craft high-impact visual narratives for both internal stakeholders and external clients across Restaurants and CPG Brands.
  • Translate complex data from our partners' advertising campaigns into clear, actionable insights.
  • Train and coach commercial teams to maximize the impact of data visualization solutions.
  • Serve as a bridge between our product, data and commercial teams, enhancing our product marketing efforts with compelling visual reports, insights, and informative dashboards.
  • Generate and utilize data on KPIs, ad campaign performance, and market trends to shape media plans, sales strategies, and reports.
  • Lead product marketing projects end-to-end to bring data insights to life.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to grow and optimize advertiser investments and ROAS through data analysis and forecasting.
  • See the big picture by connecting the dots and digging deep to uncover trends and insights from data, moving analyses beyond descriptive analytics.
  • Conduct audits and competitive analyses in the Retail media space to advocate why Glovo is the best platform for advertising.
  • Build data MVPs and collaborate with Data engineers to create new KPIs, prototyping new data visualization solutions, and drive the update of the existing reporting and analysis.
  • Develop, update, and manage the lifecycle of dashboards and reports, adhering to data governance guidelines.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE

  • Over 4 years of experience in advertising performance analysis, marketing science, or a related field focused on digital advertising sales.
  • Strong understanding of the digital advertising measurement ecosystem;  attribution and incrementality concepts are your bread and butter.
  • Proficient in data analysis and report generation, with a keen ability to distill complex data into compelling stories.
  • Strong SQL skills, able to extract, manipulate, and analyze large sets of data with accuracy.
  • A passion for creating informative visualizations and presentations to communicate results to all levels of the company.
  • Excellent communication, visualization, and storytelling skills, applicable to both technical and business audiences.
  • An analytical mind, meticulous attention to detail, and a joy for solving problems.
  • Results-oriented and ready to make an impact on the organization.
  • Ability to understand our database layout and how data is related across different tables and data products.
  • Work as a collaborative, decisive partner and liaison across all parties, including clients, colleagues, and operations.
  • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously, meeting both near-term and long-term deadlines.

 

Nice to Have

  • A strong grasp of statistical concepts
  • Experience working with platform or high-tech companies, media agencies, advertising agencies, advertisers, or marketing research organizations is a plus.
  • Experience in Google Adwords, Meta Advertising, Amazon Ads, Trade Desk, Adsmovil, or ad tech platforms.
  • Proficiency in Looker is a huge plus.
