This is an excellent opportunity to join a robust foundation at an early stage, contributing to its development and refinement for years to come. The ideal candidate has had experience in larger global Deal Desk organizations with a proven track record of adding value to sales organizations while ensuring compliance through strong partnerships with various relevant teams.

You will…

  • Provide proactive deal support through various activities such as attending forecast calls and adding value to more complex deals as it is required
  • Create, improve and enforce company policies around pricing,  discounting, approvals and revenue recognition
  • Collaborate with key deal stakeholders like Legal, Security, Product, CS and Finance as required acting as a liaison between sales and them in terms of our deal process.
  • Report on deal metrics and identify trends or areas of opportunity specifically for Deal Desk and our sales teams
  • Contribute to running Deal Desk related systems such as our newly launched CLM application in tandem with Salesforce CPQ. Work closely within the Rev Ops team and specifically with the Revenue Systems team to make ongoing changes to system configuration.
  • Ensure accuracy of our financial reporting by ensuring non-standard deals are best captured in our systems of record like Salesforce
  • Partner closely with Product Marketing on our pricing and packaging strategies
  • Partner closely with Product teams on our provisioning and de-provisioning processes
  • Understand sales incentive plans and their interplay with deal structure and terms
  • Drive and support various upcoming strategic initiatives which improve our quote to cash process such as auto-renewal improvements, provisioning enhancements and pricing model changes

You have…

  • 4+ years of experience in Deal Desk related activities and previous experience within Rev Ops related roles
  • Experience in a Deal Desk function at $50m+ business with more stringent policies and processes
  • A proven ability to create clear and concise policies that are enforced through systems like Salesforce
  • A track record and numerous examples of implemented changes that increased revenue through deal strategy
  • Managed changes related to deal desk that impacted hundreds of salespeople and/or thousands of customers
  • Built strong relationships with sales teams and can empathise with the challenges of the role whilst enforcing policies and procedures
  • Supported complicated sales cycles with your strong business acumen, creativity as well as negotiation skills
  • Experience with CRM (ideally SFDC CPQ) and CLM technology like Ironclad, SpringCM / DocusignCLM

You are…

  • Service-minded and can ensure sales is supported on deals in a timely manner whether that be via self-serve processes and documentation or achieving agreed upon SLAs when it comes to more complex deals
  • A clear communicator both internally when writing and enforcing policy as well as externally as required when supporting deals
  • Detail-oriented and use your business acumen to create comprehensive policies that sales teams can understand and appreciate
  • Eager to work on strategic projects related to Deal Desk that can have large revenue impacts
  • Analytical and have helped deliver accurate and timely revenue reporting
