Why We Have This Role

As a Demo Engineer you will assist in designing, building, and communicating scalable solutions on the Qualtrics XM platform. This may include demo resources such as dashboards, surveys, integrations, scripts, videos, and presentations. You will also assist in administering proof of concepts (POCs) for potential customers by uploading their data into a project and building initial dashboards and analytics to be presented back to the prospect. You will assist in documenting instructions for value selling key features, integrations, or solutions in Qualtrics that can enable others in the organization to more easily demonstrate, understand, and sell our capabilities. You may also be invited to assist the Solution Engineers with customer facing presentations and in answering RFPs, RFIs, Security Questionnaires and other related inquiries during the sales process.

Things You’ll Do

  • Develops Qualtrics demo solutions that will be used by Solution Engineers, Account Executives, and Partners
  • Architects solutions and prototype solutions for customers
  • Help to drive the adoption of Qualtrics solutions within the sales organisation, expanding usage across departments within organizations.
  • Translate product/technical features into value drivers
  • Develop and maintain training materials and deliver training to improve product knowledge and demo abilities of salespeople
  • Build working knowledge of competing products and how to technically sell against them
  • Work collaboratively with Solution Engineering in delivering world-class solutions at scale
  • Respond to initial product requests and frame product issues for discussion and resolution with Product and Engineering teams
  • Communicate effectively with product management, engineers, marketing, and other stakeholders in describing problems succinctly to enable issue management
  • Become an expert in all Qualtrics products
  • Develop/maintain technical and business knowledge of industry directions and trends

 

What We’re Looking For On Your CV

  • At least 1 year of prior Product Specialist, Technical Account Management, Sales, Systems Engineering, or Solution Architect experience with software in a SaaS/Cloud environment
  • High energy, self-starter comfortable with ambiguity in entrepreneurial environments
  • Ability to explain and resolve common technical aspects of SaaS software, including security, protocols for APIs, SLAs, email/communication specifications, etc
  • Strong customer facing and relationship building skills
  • Outstanding professional, sales, and technical capabilities
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication skills: needs analysis, positioning, business justification, and closing techniques
  • Demonstrated strong teamwork and ability to collaborate with others while encouraging both individual and team accomplishments
  • Undergraduate degree (e.g. Marketing, Business, Human Resources Management, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Leadership, Psychology, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative field with strong academic performance).
