Where you’ll work:
Depending on the needs of your business area, we expect hub based people to be in the office at least once a week, and to go to OVO Connection events in-person.
You’ll be assigned to the closest one of our three hub offices, Bristol, Glasgow, or London; unless your role requires field-based work. Each hub has accessible spaces to park your laptop, is designed to inspire people, help them connect and bring big ideas to life.

You’ll be working as part of the Forecasting, Planning Team within OVO Retail and will be at the heart of enabling the planning for customers for the Ovo business. You’ll champion customer excellence and be empowered to make a difference on a global scale through enabling our Plan Zero objectives.
This role in a nutshell:
The Deployment Analyst is an integral part of the Forecasting & Planning Team, delivering optimal and accurate 15 mins interval forecasts and resource plans, enabling the efficient utilisation of staff to meet service levels, balancing customer and colleagues needs, whilst supporting our operational teams and business strategy to provide exceptional service to our customers .
Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will ensure we have the most up to date and accurate information in our plans.
The Deployment Analyst will be responsible for the delivery of optimal and accurate intraday forecasts and resource plans, performance prognosis, impact assessment &, output, along with identifying and recommending opportunities to optimise operational capacity to achieve service level, whilst also creating new & better ways of operating utilising all available tools, insight, capabilities, and teamwork.
Your key outcomes will be:
- Responsible for the weekly planning outputs, in construction of the outlook packs and content.
- Work collaboratively across the Deployment Analyst working group, sharing knowledge and skills to aid the wider peer development of report writing, presentation skills and overall ongoing development
- To utilise best in class methodology and statistical modelling to drive accuracy in forecasts to the agreed levels as defined
- To ensure that planning projections have a tolerance that facilitate effective service delivery and optimise operating expense
- To ensure that all supply & demand plans are constantly reviewed and monitored up to and including “on the day” to provide the most accurate information available to manage resources effectively, conducting deep dive analysis and sharing findings with key stakeholders.
- Ensure that all planning, forecasting, resourcing models, WFM platform and processes are kept up to date to maintain rigor.

You’ll be a successful Deployment Analyst if you have…
- A proven track record of delivery and expertise in Forecasting & Planning, and resourcing & deployment activities
- Excellent system skills and a solid understanding of wider Contact Centre Tools (Genesys / WFM / QStory)
- Experience working within a contact centre environment
- Confidence to engage, influence and communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
- The ability to time-manage and prioritise workload
- Strong attention to detail
- Energy sector knowledge (desirable)

We’ll pay you between £28,310 and £35,000, depending on your specific skills and experience.
