This role in a nutshell:

Your core purpose will be to build optimal intraday resourcing schedules including all planned activities, enabling the efficient utilization of staff to meet service levels, balancing customer and colleagues needs.

As a key member of the Forecasting and Planning team, responsibilities will include the delivery of optimal intraday scheduling of activities, supporting our operational teams and business strategy to provide exceptional service to our customers.

Working closely with colleagues across the business, you will ensure we have the most up to date and accurate information in our plans.  Supporting the day to day operational build and management of short term intra- day Supply & Demand plans, and aiding the delivery of robust end to end planning solutions, that will enable the successful delivery of Ovo’s business objectives .

 

Your key outcomes will be:

  • To ensure all outputs are delivered on time aligning to the planning cycle
  • Build intraday schedules & deviations based on agreed shift/contract portfolio, along with scheduling of planned activities.
  • To undertake analysis of operational metrics performance (Demand, AHT, Shrinkage) using trend and other data to produce accurate insight, projections and prognosis
  • Production of weekly resource builds, outputs and delivery to key stakeholders, providing insight and recommendations to support delivery of service levels and targets. 
  • Release of Overtime, Toil and Annual Leave allocation
  • Conduct administration tasks to ensure our platforms are kept up to date, aligning to current organisational design and individual’s attendance patterns. 
  • To carefully assess Supply requirements building in house & OSP resourcing plans that support targeted outcomes and estate design principles
  • To ensure that staffing shifts meet required ToD demand arrival patterns, with robust shift alignment in place that secures delivery of of operational SLAs intraday
  • Build and maintain accurate historical records
  • To support the Planning Manager in articulating drivers to any variances to the plan for the short term planning projections
  • To deliver tactical intraday forecasts, aligned to the strategic forecasts. Preparing these for use for internal resource deployment, and shared with OSP partners for scheduling and planning purposes as per planning cycle requirements.
  • Management of shift portfolio and COH/COA processes, providing recommendations to support optimal delivery of SLA’s and business strategy.
  • Support standardisation across the F&P Team, for all systems, processes and procedures
  • Take a proactive approach on all business tasks to support the Management Team
  • Support and guide the wider team to ensure core priorities are consistently delivered
  • Ensure that all planning, forecasting, resourcing models, WFM platform and processes are kept up to date to maintain rigor.
  • Carry out any other tasks or duties as required by our senior management team

 

You’ll be a successful Deployment Analyst here at OVO if you…

  • Have experience managing in a matrix environment across large scale teams.
  • Have experience with WFM Platforms (ideally Genesys)
  • Have a track record of delivering outstanding performance, demonstrating strong attention to detail and keen to learn.
  • Be able to manage change and departmental growth with demonstrable experience in improving performance by introducing more efficient working as well as delivering a great environment to work in.
