DevOps/Automation Engineer
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and automating our testing and deployment infrastructure, which is mostly Windows-based. Other duties involve working on our CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, mainly). You will work closely with engineering teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of our applications. You will be expected to take a highly active stance and apart from working with systems and writing automation (tech stack will be mostly up to you), you shall review our current solutions, propose improvements, drive projects to completion and cooperate with other engineers and managers.Your main responsibility is going to be the automation of the installation and update of our ERP system and the ecosystem of partner products.Key Responsibilities:
- Automate on-premise and cloud systems build and deployment
- Provide services to other stakeholders and make sure their needs are met
- Develop & implement CI/CD pipelines
- Optimize infrastructure to be secure, scalable and cost-effective
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CASC) - tech stack is mostly up to you, examples would be Ansible, Terraform and similar tools
- Solid knowledge of Windows system & related tech
- Excellent collaboration & communication skills, working cross-functionally with developers, IT, and business stakeholders.
- Ability to drive project by yourself
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong analytical mindset to optimize processes and infrastructure performance.
- Passion for automation & innovation, continuously improving workflows.
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, BitBucket, Azure DevOps, Maven).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash).
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably Azure, but AWS and GCP are also a plus)-.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Configuration as Code experience (e.g. pipeline DSLs)
- Knowledge of containerization & orchestration (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes).
- Experience with monitoring & logging tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Familiarity with security best practices in DevOps and cloud environments "SecDevOps"
