The FlashArray team builds the industry’s most innovative, high-performance, and highly available portfolio of products that are designed for the most demanding mission critical applications.  While we deliver a hardware storage array, over 90% of our engineering staff are software engineers. Our customers are the most important part of our business and they love FlashArray for its simplicity of management, the constant flow of new and exciting upgrades, and ability to live on the cutting edge of technology while never taking downtime, ever. Most recently, we extended the value of our FlashArray capabilities into the cloud with CloudSnap and Cloud Block Store for AWS. These new innovations enable our customers to leverage the agility of the public cloud for both traditional IT and cloud-native applications.

Responsibilities

• Develop automated test framework for software-based all-flash storage arrays
• Improve product quality and reliability of automated testing infrastructure
• Collaborate with world-class storage engineers to define test automation requirements by participating in product design reviews
• Collaborate with support, release, engineering and management teams to improve product quality by increasing tools to add to automated test coverage

What You Bring To The Team

• A strong focus on developing usable, extensible and maintainable software
• A minimum of 3 years software development experience, preferably in Python
• Demonstrated Unix/Linux automation experience
• Agile, Test frameworks, Continuous Integration experience 
• Ability to work independently in cross-functional teams
• Must be willing and able to work in an open office, team environment

Nice to Have

• Networking, storage protocols and NAS experience
• Development and testing of RESTful web services and backend APIs
• 5+ years of relevant work experience

The annual base salary range is: $207,000– $312,000. Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location.
