We are looking for a Digital Marketing Manager for the APJ region to develop and execute a growth strategy that drives digital demand at scale. In this role, you will be responsible for planning and executing digital programs that expand Okta’s reach within all segments, generate new names and new leads, increase conversions through the funnel, and ultimately create new pipeline through a variety of digital channels. 

 

As a mid-senior member of Okta’s marketing team, you’ll continuously seek to evolve our growth marketing best practices, lead cross-functional work streams, and execute go-to-market activities that ensure best-in-class customer acquisition, engagement, and retention. You will work closely with the various marketing teams to understand the unique characteristics of the APJ business, how to find and meet buyers where they are, and ensure that Okta leads with localized messaging. 

 

The ideal candidate for this role will have a strong passion for digital growth marketing, a data-driven and growth-minded approach, and a desire to do things differently. To be successful you’ll need to be a strong communicator who can earn trust with key stakeholders across sales and marketing teams. You should be comfortable with ambiguity and complex challenges and are willing to work autonomously, handling multiple initiatives simultaneously and prioritizing accordingly to contribute to ambitious demand gen plans. If you are organized, analytical, and data-driven, with an interest in owning your program strategy end to end, this is a great role for you.

 

Digital Marketing Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop multi-channel digital marketing strategies for the APJ region, taking into consideration changing business needs, market trends and indicators, and the competitive landscape. 
  • Plan and execute all SEM, paid social, content syndication, and display advertising campaigns, and contribute to full-funnel digital touchpoints like conversational marketing and email nurture campaigns.
  • Assess and contribute to SEO and Content Strategy roadmap 
  • Identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed based on business and industry trends.
  • Brainstorms new and creative growth strategies through digital marketing.
  • Coordinate with key regional and global stakeholders to align all demand generation efforts with the needs of the business.
  • Attend and participate in APJ regional team meetings and planning sessions and act as the global team liaison to the region. 
  • Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing campaigns and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs).
  • Utilize strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touchpoints.
  • Identify critical conversion points and drop-off points and optimize user funnels.
  • Identify trends and insights, and optimize spend and performance based on the insights.
  • Plan, execute, and measure experiments and conversion tests.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create landing pages and optimize user experience.

 

Digital Marketing Manager Qualifications/Skills:

  • 5-8 years of experience in Digital Marketing 
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform, and motivate
  • Hands-on Experience with executing digital programs in APJ subregions
  • Extensive experience with data analysis and campaign optimization
  • Creating and maintaining stakeholder relationships
  • Self-motivated and inquisitive
  • Proficient in marketing research and competitive analysis
  • Able to maintain complex budgets and manage processes
  • Familiar with financial planning and strategy
