ROLE MISSION

Working in partnership with our client, the Project Manager will lead projects from concept to completion, providing the direction and control required to do this.  Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external clients, the Project Manager is the key communicator on the status, risks and challenges of all the project deliverables, inclusive of budget and resources. We have been appointed to create a Digital Centre of Excellence within the clients’ marketing department where they have an ambition to put the Saudi events industry on the global map. The Digital Centre of Excellence will own the development and strategy of digital channels, and will understand and grow audiences and engagement through all digital touchpoints.  

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING

Reporting to the Strategic Digital Lead, the Project Manager will have experience working in a similar role (B2B experience a must) and will be confident in managing multiple digital marketing projects from kick-off through to delivery. The Project Manager will manage delivery of projects (as assigned) by producing project plans, agreeing milestones and working closely with the Digital Centre of Excellence and Marketing Managers across our clinet’s business to co-ordinate and drive actions. You will be part of a team of 29 and will work within the DCoE, where it will be your responsibility for the successful management and ownership of project plans. You will be working in collaboration with the wider marketing team and you’ll be expected to work closely with our client’s other external agencies and partners. 

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

You’ll be responsible for creating and developing project plans, breaking projects into do-able actions and setting timeframes. You will manage the delivery of projects to ensure success as defined by agreed scope and timelines, driving projects through from early stage of initiation to final implementation. 

WHAT IS REQUIRED: 

  • A passion for digital marketing and solid experience as a Project Manager in a similar role. 
  • Organisation of project meetings, communicating and driving actions. 
  • Taking meeting minutes and updating plans and documents. 
  • Co-ordinate between various Marketing Managers and the Digital Centre of Excellence during all project phases, encouraging transparency of delivery effort, deliverables and milestones.
  • Working closely with the Marketing Team to understand status, issues and risks escalating to the Strategic Digital Lead where appropriate.
  • Understanding of digital project requirements to support the wider marketing team.
  • Build productive working relationships with team members, senior stakeholders and event owners to ensure priorities are understood by all impacted parties.
  • Be an advocate for internal project management processes and support the lead marketing managers to improve guidelines, templates and processes.
  • Reviewing project resources and providing an analysis on whether they meet the demands of the project.
  • Ensuring key Service Level Agreements are met by all parties involved .
  • Overseeing the project’s financial budget, notifying stakeholders of key cost implications, changes to budget, spending and cost changes.
  • Working in a team of 29 across OLIVER and our client.
  • Potential overseas travel on adhoc basis. 

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL 

  • Excellent client engagement skills with the ability to proactively organise and influence clients and build strong and effective working relationships. 
  • Exceptional project management skills. 
  • Overall responsibility for the successful initiation of the project plan and execution with stakeholders, monitoring progress, controlling deadlines and closure of the project  
  • The ability to develop and put forward the best process in tackling data gathering and storing. 
  • The ability to host clear, efficient and productive project meetings for differing stages of the project from kick off, discovery and so on, using a project methodology. 
  • Agile Project Management experience for mapping out sprints and leading scrums.  
  • Great communication skills that are tailored for the recipients. 
  • Understanding of how to integrate with a client-side team whilst maintaining a top tier agency service.  
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other related software.
