Payoneer is looking for a highly talented Director of Affiliate and Partnerships for EMEA region to join a market-defining fast-growing global Fintech business. Working in a dynamic environment, the incumbent will be tasked to manage a team of Partnership Managers across Europe and West Asian markets to increase business adoption and market penetration by enabling hundreds of thousands of SMBs and professional businesses to pay and get paid globally with Payoneer’s fast, flexible, secure and low-cost solutions.

 

What’s the job?

In this role you will have the opportunity to Think Big and bring to fore a well thought out structured partnership strategy that can help Payoneer build scale, maximize its reach to potential customers, launch new country markets and create a solid revenue channel. Payoneer’s platform allows businesses to get paid and make efficient payouts to its vendors, channels and downstream customers. Thus, the partnership team can drive a multipronged ecosystem within payments and complementary services business that create value upstream and downstream both. The incumbent will be responsible to leverage large SMB product platforms to help improve customer experience and drive network effects beyond the payment ecosystem. In addition, this is a role where the team is responsible for driving new revenue. The incumbent should have the ability to build and drive high performing multi-cultural teams. The ideal candidate should be comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-tasked, high-energy environment with an ability to deal with ambiguity. This role is based in London, UK.

 

What You’ll Be Spending Your Time On

  • Own and achieve annual partnership targets; driving demand-generation, revenue and ideal customer profile acquisition.
  • Manage a regional team of Partnership Managers, driving high performance, engagement and professional development.
  • Develop and execute GMT plans to grow and expand the channel partnerships portfolio, including programs to drive acquisition, retention and growth.
  • Drive efficiencies, productivity and tracking in the E2E pipeline and partner business cycle – from hiring new partners, improving their throughput and driving partner success.
  • Optimize collaboration and efficiencies with the sales team to maximize the sales lead funnel.
  • Strategize new high potential markets to develop a partner led market entry strategy.
  • Establish reseller as a channel for the region, identifying relevant markets, industries and profiles, and launching reseller program.
  • Support execution of the regional product partnerships plan.
  • Collaborate with marketing to create launch and growth plans for high potential partners.
  • Represent the EMEA team as the partnerships focal point and interact cross-functionally to achieve GTM and corporate goals.

Does this sound like you?

  • 10-12 years of experience in business development, partnerships or sales, with at least 2 years demonstrative experience in channel or reseller partnerships
  • Track record of meeting and exceeding business established goals.
  • Have Managed or is Managing a diverse team of partnership managers.
  • Ability to drive operational excellence through innovative initiatives.
  • Ability to manage a high performing team and to influence internal stakeholders.
  • Strong team player, self-motivated and the ability to work independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience in the Payments and Banking industry
  • Familiarity with the B2B and SMB/SME Customer Segment
  • Experience developing business in multiple European and Middle East markets.
  • Experience working and excelling at high growth, international company with diverse culture.
