As Vimeo’s Director of Account Management you will lead a team of sales professionals drive expansion within our existing account base. You and your team will be responsible for developing, driving, closing, and growing revenue opportunities across the Americas. Your managers and team will consistently be able to articulate Vimeo’s differentiation in the marketplace, as well as the value proposition to customers across various segments and use cases. 

You’ll manage a team of sales management professionals and build relationships with customer executives directly. You should possess a track record of consistent quota over-achievement as well as strong forecasting acumen. 

What you’ll do:

  • Recruit, hire, train, develop and retain a high performing team
  • Coach and motivate your team to lead by example and foster a high achieving, collaborative culture
  • Exceed Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) growth and retention targets 
  • Manage forecast, pipeline, and executive an overarching expansion GTM strategy for the Americas 
  • Build a strong team culture while fostering a broad feeling of inclusion
  • Provide timely and insightful input back to other Vimeo teams, particularly product management, marketing, and business leadership
  • Develop and maintain expertise in all Vimeo product offerings to help companies across the Americas to understand the Vimeo value proposition
  • Be able to articulate Vimeo product capabilities against competitive offerings in market and support your team in navigating multi threaded pursuits
  • Maintain CRM data and pipeline within Salesforce.com

Skills and knowledge you should possess:

  • 7+ years experience generating new SaaS sales or growing accounts
  • 5+ years of experience leading sales teams and 2+ years experience managing managers
  • Experience running a sales operation including forecasting, formulating demand generation and deal execution strategies, leading a repeatable sales process and executing a value-based sales methodology
  • Relationship building with customer executives, understanding their environment, and introducing new concepts to solve problems
  • Trained on formal Sales Methodologies such as Sandler or MEDDIC
  • Experience working in an ambiguous, fast-paced environment and navigating matrixed organizations
  • Strong verbal and written communication, organization, time management, and presentation skills
  • Driven and assertive, motivated by a desire to help customers achieve their business goals
  • Passion for problem solving with a roll-up-your sleeves approach
  • Knowledge of various video buying personas such as Marketing, Corporate Communications and HR, and IT

Targeted Base Salary Range:  $135,000 to $205,500.

The base salary range listed above is for candidates located in the U.S., including the New York City metro area.
