The Role
The Director of Business Analytics is responsible for ensuring Pantheon’s business strategy is successfully supported by analytics & insights. The role leads our business analytics strategy delivering “top tier” analytics & insights relied on by Pantheon’s executive, product and business operations leaders. The role contributes to the success of Pantheon’s Customer Experience and Go-to-Market strategy through analytics. This role plays a key, cross-functional role in data definitions and stewardship across Pantheon’s SaaS business systems. The role nurtures our self-service data culture and works to educate and uplift data & analytics maturity across Pantheon. This role is highly visible, requiring a “hands on”, inquisitive leader, with the heart of a teacher who is able to democratize data across an organization. This role reports to the Vice President of Data, Analytics & Business Systems.
What you Need to Succeed
- Enable business strategy through operational, predictive and self-service analytics.
- Develop analytics and data products that directly support our strategic initiatives.
- Communicate conclusions and “tell the story” behind the data with visualizations.
- Drive the data business definitions for our key metrics and datasets in the data lake.
- Own “tier one” analytics supporting our business and executive leadership team.
- Lead our talented Data Analysts on strategic analytic projects across the company.
- Improve data quality by leading data stewardship initiatives across the organization.
- Develop community training programs for “self-service” analytic consumers.
- Assess our business trends, and make recommendations to our leadership team.
- Partner with our Data Platform team to leverage the data lake for analytics.
- Partner with executive leadership and business leaders across the organization.
