Our mission is to help Bricksters, Customers, and Partners identify, quantify, and accelerate the realization of business value outcomes from using Databricks. Business value is the foundational aspect that drives every phase of Customer Success and Growth. This team makes it faster and easier from beginning to end. This role is an individual contributor role that requires leadership skills and experience. You will report to the Regional VP of Sales GTM, APJ.

The impact you will have:

  • You will work with Leadership ensuring that sales-led customer engagements are centered around Value creation and measurement
  • You will be instrumental in pursuits of key accounts, building win narratives and account strategy
  • You will help win sales opportunities, directly engaging with sales teams and customers to build the business case and document the impact realized from using Databricks
  • You will teach the tenets of Business Value Consulting to field Sales and Customer Success teams
  • You will work with Marketing to promote the measurable impact of Databricks inside and outside our company through presentations, blogs, webinars, and whitepapers
  • You will build reusable financial benefit analysis models for BVC practitioners and field teams
  • You will review and improve deliverables based on field experience and customer feedback
  • You will create new motions to promote further Databricks adoption and success
  • You will provide relevant field experience insights to partners in product management, marketing, engineering, and senior leadership.

What we look for:

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required, MBA a plus
  • 9+ years experience as part of an enterprise software sales or consulting team or working in IT; 
  • 5+ years experience as a Business Value Consultant
  • Experience with how big data, analytics, ML and AI support the business
  • Consultative approach working externally with customers and internally as well
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills; articulate and professional
  • Excellent business case creation and analysis skills
  • Financial and business acumen
  • A thought-leader and evangelist
  • Winning as part of a team
  • Japanese language abilities are required
