Are you ready to join the programmatic evolution?

As Director, Centralized Account Management, you will build and manage a new team of account managers, in support of our global publishers who are not managed by dedicated account managers in our regional offices. In this pivotal role, you will develop a global strategy and vision, set goals, objectives and performance metrics in support of publishers maximizing media spend. The ideal candidate must have the ability to lead and support the team, be collaborative, accountable, enthusiastic, proactive and self-driven. Based in Toronto, the role will report to the VP, Revenue Operations.

Revenue Operations is the glue that binds together our global commercial teams to help us delight our customers. We focus on operational efficiency, driving growth, and ensuring all stakeholders have the operational data & insights needed to manage and make decisions.

  • Experienced: Knows how to efficiently manage a high volume of accounts, has led this function before, and can apply past learnings to lead Centralized Account Management at Index Exchange.
  • Proactive: Proven track record growing accounts through strategic initiatives, lifecycle marketing, and collaboration with internal stakeholders.
  • Tenacious: passionate about our goals and our customers and never satisfied until our teams achieve optimal productivity and efficiency using all the tools at their disposal. Someone who possesses a “roll up your sleeves” attitude.
  • Collaborator: Able to work with stakeholders across Sales, Services, Marketing, Product, Finance, and others in order to accomplish goals.
  • Operational Leadership: leverages data and insights to drive strategic decisions, advance operational efficiency, and continuously enhance overall performance.
  • Communications Expert: Someone capable of consuming data and findings and disseminating it to different levels and departments through clear and concise story-telling.
  • Flexible: Comfort with ambiguity with the ability to manage multiple priorities and quickly adapt to new circumstances as they emerge.

Here’s What You’ll be Doing:

  • Build and lead the new Centralized Account Management function at Index Exchange

  • Recruit, onboard, manage, train, and mentor a team fostering a culture of performance, continuous improvement, teamwork and a shared vision for efficiency and growth

  • Develop, execute, monitor, and report on programs aimed at increasing media spend from our centralized customers

  • Collaborate closely with the Salesforce team to support your workflows while becoming an expert of our internal tools

  • Leverage the support of our Global Operations team to ensure customers receive optimal technical and operational support

  • Execute ongoing customer lifecycle marketing in collaboration with Marketing and Communications

  • Support your team through regular communication and upward feedback, addressing challenges, and providing solutions

  • Passionately document projects to ensure visibility and alignment within the organization

  • Become an expert in our exchange & operational data, guarding its integrity while supporting the team to achieve strategic outcomes and optimal visibility

  • Be a living example of Index Exchange Values and lead by example, inspiring others to follow suit

Here's What You Need:

  • Extensive experience building and leading account management teams, specifically scale/centralized accounts. AdTech experience is a plus but not mandatory

  • Experience leading proactive growth initiatives, developing programs designed to expand revenue

  • Excellent project management skills, enabling you to gather requirements, prioritize, execute, and manage stakeholders

  • Experience using a CRM and process management tools; Salesforce Lightning experience is an asset

  • Skilled in setting standard operational KPIs and metrics, as well as advanced skills in Excel and data visualization/BI software (e.g., Looker)

  • The ability to influence team members to adopt new processes with powerful messaging, training and documentation

  • Understanding of the online advertising industry including, advertising/publisher and network business models, ad serving, media trading, and/or RTB is a valuable asset
