The Opportunity at Culture Amp

This is a truly unique opportunity to lead corporate communications for Culture Amp, within the Brand and Communications team. We are the storytellers, curators and custodians of translating strategy, company values and our view on the world of work.

The Director Corporate Communications will step into a new role at Culture Amp, leveraging work that has been done to build the Culture Amp brand by our team and our agency partners. There is an opportunity to establish a bold public relations, analyst relations and corporate communications approach, taking brand awareness and advocacy to the next level and continuing to grow Culture Amp’s reputation as the leading employee experience platform.

Once you’re in the seat, you will:

  • Lead the public relations, analyst relations and corporate communications approach
  • Establish a corporate communications messaging framework and drive a proactive executive communications agenda
  • Build trusted relationships with C-level and leaders across the entire business, prepare briefs, messaging and presentations as needed
  • Manage our monthly data insights program
  • Work with the product marketing team to amplify impact on product-related news and initiatives.
  • Develop and lead our analyst relations program of work, ensuring strong relationships and two way information flow with relevant analyst organizations
  • Work with our established agency partners across North America, EMEA and APAC to grow share of voice and build advocacy
  • Research, build and produce engaging communications materials
  • Oversee award strategy - including selections and submissions
  • Lead the delivery of external communications projects
  • Provide spokesperson training for internal stakeholders involved in external relations
  • Oversee reporting and metrics that measure and track the results of external communications initiatives

What You Bring to Our Camp

  • Minimum of eight years of media relations / analyst relations / external communications either in-house or agency, including leadership roles
  • You are a strong written and verbal communicator who recognizes the impact of communications to scale a business.
  • You are able to influence stakeholders and build strong relationships with people across an entire business.
  • Progress over perfection. You are someone who is comfortable operating in an exciting but highly ambiguous environment with tight deadlines. You’re able to make trade-offs to deliver a result that may not be perfect, but “good enough”.
  • You are a creative communicator and a master of storytelling - you understand what makes a good story and can communicate in a compelling way.
  • You are prepared to get in and deliver work. Resourcefulness is a strong skill of yours and you are willing to find quick and easy solutions
  • You’ve got the ability to build trust over time to establish credibility with Exec (note: we are not necessarily looking for someone with instant cred. e.g. badges/prior exp, but rather someone who can build it up by their behavioral patterns, e.g. being reasoned & reliable in delivery)
  • You are a curious learner who is always ready to ask the questions that need to be answered
  • You create structure in ambiguity while being flexible in how you drive outcomes
  • You are an all-rounder who is excited about taking on unique challenges and projects
  • You are intellectually curious about business, and preferably have an interest in studying how hyper-growth SaaS or growth stage companies operate at scale
