Okta is hiring for a sales leader to expand our footprint in the Nordics and Baltics. This role is responsible for evolving and executing a GTM strategy, with a focus on our leading Okta Identity Cloud Solutions.

Managing a team of Account Executives, the role will involve nurturing and growing the team to further success. Aligning our global strategy to the current and future opportunities in region and developing operational excellence in order to ensure unity when opening and closing deals.

Reporting directly into the Country Manager. You'll be working closely alongside sales directors across EMEA. Ensuring that your team is recognised as a top tier region, fulfilling it's full potential. 

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the team of Account Executives in achieving individual and team quota
  • Support direct reports by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings or engaging other resources as required
  • Ongoing mentoring and development of sales team which includes recruiting, hiring and mentoring new reps
  • Conduct weekly forecast meetings
  • You will be reporting on sales activity and forecast to senior sales management
  • Consistently monitoring the sales activity of the team, and tracking the results
  • Quote, negotiate, and assist sales reps in closing highly complex transactions through the development of executive-level relationships with key prospects
  • Manage daily and weekly activities, pipelines, forecasts and closed deals to ensure above-quota results based on successful pipeline management
  • Coordinate and lead weekly and monthly one-on-one and team-wide pipeline reviews, meetings and training sessions to ensure ongoing improvement
  • Work closely with extended team of pre-sales, services, training, legal, renewals business partners

Required Skills:

  • Demonstrated success in directly leading a high-performing sales team within a software sales environment
  • Different influencing styles as appropriate to a situation, whilst demonstrating a history of successfully building and maintaining trusting relationships with colleagues and customers
  • Significant experience selling to both technical audiences such as CIO, CISO, CTO and the commercial personas such as Product, Marketing, HR, Operations etc. You'll be expected to actively join customer meetings and events.
  • Expert initiating a Sales Framework such as MEDDICC, Challenger or Sandler (we use MEDDPICC)
  • Significant experience in understanding partnership with GSI’s & the wider partner ecosystem. 
  • Willingness to travel and be present at our office in Stockholm, building a positive culture and environment to encourage collaboration.
