About the roleWe're looking for a strategic, growth-minded leader to drive expansion across Spanish-speaking Latin America and Brazil. In this high-impact role reporting to the VP of GTM & Planning, you'll shape and execute go-to-market strategies and partnerships that grow our subscriber base and drive revenue across the region.
As the Director, Go-to-Market, LATAM, you bring strong regional expertise, and a passion for content-driven platforms. You'll work to turn market insights into tailored strategies, guiding everything from regional launches to local partnerships.
Core Responsibilities- Lead go-to-market strategy and execution across Spanish-speaking Latin America and Brazil, including Crunchyroll's owned platforms and key partnerships
- Translate regional strategy into local plans across content, product, marketing, and partnerships
- Shape growth plans based on audience insights, balancing investment across countries to maximize ROI
- Define audience segments, entry models (e.g., direct vs. partners), and go-to-market paths
- Plan and test top-of-funnel media in collaboration with Paid Media and Regional Marketing
- Map customer journeys to uncover gaps and growth opportunities across the funnel
- Provide regional insights to shape content, product, and curation decisions
- Lead local partnerships and support major launches, campaigns, and commercial deals
- Align with teams—including Business Development, Product, Content, and Marketing
- Build business cases and recommend growth investments based on market data
- Track KPIs, assess go-to-market impact, and report performance across the region
- Use cultural insights, seasonal trends, and behaviors to refine market strategy
- Consolidate performance data into a clear regional view
- Lead LATAM Growth Summits and serve as the contact for Sony, vendors, and key partners
We are considering applicants who are available to work a hybrid schedule, with three days per week onsite at our Mexico City office.
About YouWe get excited about candidates, like you, because...
- 10+ years in consulting or strategy, with experience in OTT, global entertainment, or consumer tech
- Deep understanding of the Latin American media and entertainment landscape, including Brazil
- Experience launching and scaling go-to-market strategies in high-growth, cross-functional environments
- Expertise in building regional strategies, financial modeling, pitch deck creation, and business plan development
- Fluency in English and Spanish; knowledge of Portuguese is a plus
- Passion for anime, entertainment, or pop culture is a big plus
Crunchyroll's expansion is fueled by both domestic and growing international efforts. The GTM & Planning team collaborates with U.S.-based leadership and regional teams to develop go-to-market and partnership marketing plans that increase growth across Crunchyroll's owned and operated (O&O) platforms and high-profile third-party distribution partners.
