What's the opportunity? 🤔

Intercom is seeking a strategic and analytical Director of Integrated Campaigns to spearhead our global marketing initiatives. This strategic role is crucial for driving Intercom's growth and expanding our market presence. As a key player in our marketing team, you will craft and execute a comprehensive demand-focussed integrated campaign strategy that aligns with our business objectives, driving significant revenue growth across both SMB and Mid Market segments.

What will I be doing? 🚀

Strategic Campaign Leadership: 

  • Develop and execute an integrated campaign strategy aligned with business goals, focusing on multi-channel and multi-segment campaigns to engage and acquire new customers.
  • Translate the campaign strategy into funnel-focused marketing programs to acquire, engage and retain customers, with clear understanding of ideal buyer personas, their goals and challenges, and their buying journeys.

Cross-Functional Team Collaboration:

  • Work closely with different marketing functions, such as  product marketing, content, digital, events, operations, and public relations, to ensure a cohesive and coordinated approach to campaigns.
  • Collaborate across teams  to ensure campaign alignment with customer needs, product offerings, and market demands.

Data-Driven Optimization:

  • Utilize data and analytics to measure campaign effectiveness, gain insights, and optimize future campaigns for better performance.
  • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of campaigns against revenue goals.

Innovative Content and Messaging:

  • Oversee the development of creative and compelling campaign content that engages target audiences.
  • Ensure consistent messaging across all channels, aligning with the company’s brand voice and marketing objectives.

Market Trends and Insights:

  • Keep abreast of market trends and competitor strategies, leveraging insights to drive campaign innovation and identifying opportunities for growth.

Budget Management:

  • Manage the campaign budget, ensuring strategic allocation of resources for maximum impact and ROI.
What skills do I need? 📖

Extensive Experience in Integrated Marketing Campaigns:

  • 12+ years of experience in marketing, with a significant focus on integrated campaign management in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful multi-channel, multi-language marketing campaigns.

Strategic Thinking and Leadership:

  • Exceptional strategic planning and leadership skills, with the ability to translate business goals into successful marketing strategies.

Analytical and Data-Driven:

  • Proficiency in using analytics tools to measure campaign performance and inform decisions. Strong ability to interpret data, extract insights, and drive campaign improvements. 

Collaboration and Influence:

  • Outstanding ability to collaborate and influence across teams, aligning stakeholders around common goals and campaign visions.

Creative and Innovative Mindset:

  • Creativity in developing engaging and innovative campaign ideas that resonate with target audiences.
  • Staying at the forefront of marketing trends and technologies to continuously innovate and improve campaign effectiveness.

Deep Content Strategy Understanding:

  • In-depth knowledge of demand-focused content strategies and their application across various customer segments to fuel demand generation and organic growth.

The base salary range for candidates within the San Francisco Bay Area is $208,300 - $281,800. Actual base pay will depend on a variety of factors such as education, skills, experience, location, etc. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All regular employees may also be eligible for the corporate bonus program or a sales incentive (target included in OTE) as well as stock in the form of Restricted Stock Units (RSUs).  

 

Intercom has a hybrid working policy. We believe that working in person helps us stay connected, collaborate easier and create a great culture while still providing flexibility to work from home. We expect employees to be in the office at least two days per week.
