Red Ventures is seeking a natural sales professional, with the ability to identify opportunities, build meaningful relationships and win new business to join our team as aDirector of Account Management for the Credit Cards group. In this role, you’ll be responsible for developing relationships that advance the company and maximize income potential for our clients, optimizing and growing affiliate programs within the network while recruiting new Affiliate partners.  

This role is required to operate out of the south Charlotte, NC or NYC area office on a hybrid schedule (Tuesday through Thursday in office).

What You'll Do:

  • Identify and develop new relationships into strategic Affiliate partnerships
  • Manage and maintain existing Affiliate partner relationships by providing proactive business solutions to Affiliate partners, as well as offering ideas / methods of increasing revenue through unique marketing programs
  • Manage and maintain advertiser relationships on an ongoing basis while bringing high paying offers to publishers and partners in our network
  • Make recommendations and oversee strategies related to affiliate marketing with the goal of increasing traffic and maintaining profit margin
  • Develop and maintain reporting for Executives and Management, both internally and externally.
  • Be an effective motivator for publishers and advertisers, promoting top programs, and keeping close communications with top performers and developing long lasting relationships.
  • The affiliate manager should expect to attend 2-3 conventions or more per year, and feel comfortable with one on one meetings with publishers and advertisers, both remotely and in-person.

What We're Looking For: Data lovers and analytically minded people with a passion for online marketing/search engine marketing.1+ years of experience with a proven track record meeting performance goals in paid search marketing

  • Financial services experience a must, credit cards background preferred
  • At least 3 years’ applicable experience, Affiliate marketing experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of SEO, Editorial, CE (Customer Experience) and SEM a plus
  • Highly statistical with a data focused mindset
  • Experience with A/B & Multivariate testing a plus
  • Excellent written, verbal, and relationship building communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills to maintain own work-flow and meet deadlines
  • Ability to think creatively and approach opportunities outside of the box
  • Comfortable making own judgements, but strictly abide to set rules and guidelines
  • Works well in a team environment, with ability to structure own work and operate independently when required
  • Must be responsible, resilient, and determined with a solid sense of urgency and achievement
  • Solid skills in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, G-Suite, Email, Web and Social Skills, Graphic and Writing Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Finance or equivalent

Compensation

  • Cash Compensation Range: $110,000 - $210,000* *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications, and experience.
