Senior Analyst, Wayfair Credit Cards

The Fintech & Loyalty organization builds and manages the foundational systems, financial products, and fraud detection and prevention services that provide customers with a secure, seamless, and rewarding payment experience. Fintech & Loyalty partners with 30+ organizations worldwide to provide a robust selection of gifting, paying, and financing options, to securely process $12B+ in annual transaction volume, and to detect, prevent, and mitigate fraud.
What You’ll Do:
- Support the day-to-day operating needs of Wayfair’s credit card programs in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Key internal stakeholders include marketing, legal, compliance, product, and analytics. Key external stakeholders include Citi, Capital One Trade Credit, and Flexiti.
- Influence and execute the marketing strategy of Wayfair’s credit card products, driving both new customer acquisition and repeat purchases/loyalty.
- Support Wayfair credit card activity (e.g., acquisition, sales, service) in non-e-commerce sales channels (e.g., call center, physical retail).
- Leverage external relationships to identify and pursue business opportunities.
- Analyze program performance, identify trends, and create opportunities for improvements while reacting to deviations from the original plan quickly and strategically.
- Partner with functional leads in Product, Engineering, Analytics to influence and drive initiatives that improve the customer experience while driving profitable growth to Wayfair.
- Maintain industry expertise and synthesize opportunities from market and competitive trends
What You'll Need:
- 2+ years of experience, ideally in marketing, management consulting, business strategy, startup/tech, and/or finance
- Ability to effectively collaborate with cross functional stakeholders to drive results
- Ability to handle multiple priorities, learn quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills - ability to leverage data from a multitude of sources to tell a persuasive story, tailor communication style based on the audience, and influence others
- Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills and comfort getting deep into the data; experience building a strategy based on data-driven insights
- Comfort in drawing conclusions from data and making recommendations based on imperfect information
- Ability to independently own and execute on solutions to complex problems
- “Get stuff done” attitude – willingness to roll up your sleeves and engage deeply with analysts and managers, across multiple teams and agendas, to accomplish what needs to be done
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL/Big Query or other analytical tools preferred
