About The Role

We are looking for a Partner Director to lead the inside partner sales organization for Asia Pacific. This role will be based out of Singapore and will report to the Vice President of Partner Sales, Asia Pacific.

Your first responsibility will be to attract talent and hire your inside partner sales team based out of Singapore. You will be accountable for setting the team up with clear roles, responsibilities, and key performance goals to operationalise partner recruitment, onboard new partners that enable Cloudflare to reach customers across new geographies and territories across Asia Pacific, sales and tech enablement at scale, run programs at scale to build partner initiated opportunities, deal registration growth, and partner sales growth. 

You will be accountable for defining targeted partner criteria and profiles, segmentation of territories to align to our sales go-to-market, recruitment strategy, development of partners, pipeline strategy and partner sales growth.  Your role will require you to work closely with the Partner Leadership, Sales Leaders, Partner Solution Engineering, Customer Success teams, Sales Operations and Partner Marketing. The candidate must be a seasoned leader with experience leading a cross regional Asia Pacific team, preferably in the technology, cybersecurity and/or networking sector. Travel will be required within Asia Pacific as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead the inside partner sales team for Asia Pacific
  • Establish cadence, reporting, goals, metrics, and tracking 
  • Define the inside partner sales strategy and operational model 
  • Define the geographical scale and coverage model to achieve growth and goals in partner initiated opportunities, deal registrations and partner sales 
  • Operationalise partner recruitment and onboarding 
  • Work with the enablement team to scale program, sales and tech enablement at scale

Desirable:

  • 10+ years experience managing partner and or distribution teams. 
  • Experience working in the technology, cybersecurity and/or networking sector
  • Executive presence 
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Has experience in partner recruiting, onboarding and enablement of Tier 1, Tier 2+
  • Has a builder mindset
