The role

As Director of Internal Audit & Enterprise Risk Management, you will be critical to ensuring the effectiveness of our internal audit and risk management processes. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, policies and procedures to identify and address potential risks and control weaknesses across the HelloFresh Group.

What you’ll do

  • Lead and develop the internal audit and risk management team
  • Develop and execute internal audit strategy and the annual internal audit plan aligned with organizational goals, objectives, risk profile and compliance status.
  • Manage and enhance the enterprise risk management framework, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring and reporting.
  • Conduct and supervise audits of various business activities, processes, controls, structures and records to verify their accuracy, integrity, efficiency, and compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Report audit findings and recommendations to senior management and the audit committee.
  • Provide professional guidance and recommendations to improve internal controls, operational procedures and risk management practices.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with external auditors and internal stakeholders across the organization. 

What you’ll bring

  • You have a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A relevant professional certification (e.g., CIA, CRM, CPA) is highly desirable.
  • You have proven experience (minimum 10 years) in internal audit, risk management, and compliance roles.
  • You have a comprehensive understanding of auditing principles, risk management methodologies, and regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., COSO, IDW PS 981, IDW PS 983, ISO 31000).
  • You are an effective team leader and have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • You have excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • You are proficient in using audit and risk management tools.
