We are seeking an exceptional marketing leader to establish and direct our marketing function. As the company's first Director of Marketing, you'll transform our traditionally understated presence into a sophisticated brand that attracts the world's best talent and reinforces our position as an industry leader. 

This is a rare opportunity to build a marketing organization from the ground up at one of the world's most technically advanced trading firms. You'll shape our narrative, define our brand strategy, and create the infrastructure to scale our marketing efforts globally. With direct access to senior leadership and influence across all business units, you'll play a pivotal role in Jump's evolution. 

We need a strategic leader who brings both creative vision and operational rigor, someone who can craft compelling stories about complex technical achievements while building the systems and processes to deliver consistent results. This role is perfect for a marketing master who thrives on building from scratch and wants to shape how a world-class firm tells its story. 

What You'll Do: 

Strategic Leadership & Marketing Operations 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive employer brand strategy encompassing branding, PR, and retention initiatives 
  • Build marketing operations infrastructure from the ground up, establishing processes, workflows, and measurement frameworks 
  • Drive data-informed decision making across all initiatives 
  • Serve as the strategic voice with the backbone to evaluate and prioritize competing initiatives 

Brand Development & Creative Direction 

  • Define and manage unified brand messaging across digital and real-world channels 
  • Oversee creative development including video production, digital content, and brand experiences 
  • Partner with PR agencies to shape media strategy, thought leadership, and external positioning 
  • Direct the design of conference materials and promotional items that resonate with our technical audience 

Employer Brand & Digital Channels 

  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to develop marketing strategies for experienced hire and campus recruiting efforts 
  • Translate complex technical achievements into compelling narratives for different audience segments 
  • Own digital channels including website and social media, expanding brand reach and engagement 
  • Produce and manage content calendars across blogs, video, social media, and other platforms 

Internal Communications & Partnership 

  • Develop internal communications strategies that strengthen culture and alignment 
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition and Talent Development teams on conference strategy and execution 
  • Ensure consistent brand experiences across all touchpoints—events, digital, and communications 
  • Build programs that amplify employee voices and technical achievements 

Skills You'll Need: 

  • At least 10 years of progressive marketing experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles 
  • Proven track record building marketing functions in complex, technical environments 
  • Deep expertise across brand strategy, PR, social media, content marketing, and creative development 
  • Experience in financial services, technology or other highly-technical industries  
  • Strong project management skills with ability to influence at the executive level 
  • Data proficiency with experience building measurement frameworks and analytics 
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills with visual storytelling capabilities 
  • Collaborative leadership style with confidence to make tough decisions and push back when needed 
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree desired
