As the Director, Search Marketing International, you will be responsible for the largest multi-MM$ performance digital channel across our International brand portfolio. You will lead a team of Search experts (Web: SEA/SEO & App: ASA/ASO) and help us scale cost-effective customer acquisition and reactivation campaigns across multiple biddable product categories. Reporting to the Senior Director, Performance Marketing International, you will help develop and execute strategic plans, use analytics to inform decisions and drive execution to optimize marketing budgets against company profitability goals. 

This is a high-impact role with the opportunity to work with teams across the organization, from Brand, Pricing & Discounts, CRM, MarTech and Analytics. From the start, we would like you to focus on identifying and driving strategic investments specifically on Google, and work with our in-house experts and our dedicated Google technical/account management team to formulate Joint Business/technical Plans and drive synergies to bring high-valued new customers to the business. You will lead the roadmap development and execute key campaigns across our meal kit brand portfolio, with a strong focus on scaling internationally our newly acquired brand, Factor, within the Ready to Eat (RTE) vertical.

You will…

  • Plan, design, and lead the day-to-day execution of Search campaigns
  • Conduct comprehensive audits to bring our Search account setup to industry “best in class” standards 
  • Lead keyword research, content gap recommendations, strategic optimization of ad formats, competitor analysis, and landing page/site improvements
  • Own all campaign management, from budgeting, to ROI optimization on a day-to-day basis.
  • Create automated dashboards, run reports, measure performance, conduct post-analysis, and share insights with stakeholders to ensure teams are pacing to meet goals.
  • Grow the team and develop them into a true “center of excellence” for Search internationally.
  • Work closely with Marketing Analytics to execute tests across search portfolios to measure incrementality and marginal efficiency and consequently optimize in-house systems and algorithms to profitably scale our Search marketing programs
  • Partner with internal teams, such as Pricing & Discount and CRM, to optimize campaign performance through tighter targeting/retargeting and incentive structures across customer cohorts
  • Work with the Brand team to oversee and provide feedback on ad copies and creatives

 

You are...

  • Passionate about deducing consumer experience and the signals Google uses to evaluate information
  • Persistent with a strong Bias-to-Action and a track record of driving performance. Strong experience in other growth/performance marketing channels (Display, Programmatic) is a plus
  • Expert in Mobile App full-funnel strategies, tracking setups and troubleshooting 
  • A natural hustler with a contagious “can-do” attitude who thrives in fast-paced environments
  • An expert in search bidding strategies and understanding auction dynamics and objectives including vCPM, tCPA & tROAS
  • Analytically gifted with an ability to turn trends into actionable insights and hypotheses
  • Responsible, diligent and with a passion for owning projects from start to finish
  • A strong communicator (both written and verbal) and truly an “egoless” team player
  • At ease with engaging with other Directors and C-suite level executives to communicate  performance and its impact on revenue and profitability of the business 
  • Strong analytically, using data to optimize day-to-day performance and run split-testing campaigns

At a minimum, you have...

  • A Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record and/or proven relevant experience in a performance marketing or highly commercial role within D2C or subscription-based businesses
  • 8+ years experience in Google Advertising ecosystem, either from an agency or client-side role
  • 5+ years experience in team management and leadership roles
  • Knowledge of Google bidding, targeting, and optimization
  • Familiarity with tag management & app tracking setup and troubleshooting
  • Experience managing campaigns in all Google campaign types: Keyword Search, PMAX, Shopping, etc.
  • Experience working with performance marketing metrics and platform reporting 
  • Experience working with Media-Mix-Models, Multi-Touch/Data-Driven Attributions, or other advanced marketing measurement methodologies
  • Strong organizational skills and project management ability
  • Industry certifications on Google and Bing Ads
