About the role:
The Director, Pipeline Development & Operations will be responsible for managing a team of pipeline development specialists, managers and team leads. In addition to owning and executing on the overarching pipeline channels performance through the management of tools- predominately Outreach.io. The management this team will focus on will be within the AMER region with Global operational responsibilities.
Your contribution will be:
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of business and sales development professionals to achieve marketing driven sales targets and objectives.
- Provide guidance and support to team members including coaching and training as needed.
- Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the sales/business development team.
- Ability to Manage Performance consistently across the organization.
Pipeline Management:
- Oversee the end-to-end management of pipeline creation from marketing to lead gen team through to Sales handoff and acceptance/conversion.
- Develop and implement processes and systems to streamline pipeline operations and enhance efficiency.
- Monitor pipeline metrics and KPIs to track progress and identify areas for improvement.
- Consistently achieve Monthly/Quarterly/Annual targets.
Operations Focus
- Develop and oversee the implementation of outreach strategies aimed at maximizing input (number of leads generated) and output (conversion rate).
- Analyze data related to outreach efforts to identify areas for improvement and optimize resource allocation.
- Collaborate with marketing and other relevant teams to align outreach efforts with broader business objectives.
- Implement best practices for prospecting, cold calling, email campaigns, and social selling to maximize results.
- Craft messaging for outbound outreach efforts to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Measure the effectiveness of outbound outreach campaigns and initiatives, adjusting strategies as needed to optimize results.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in outreach strategies and incorporate them into the overall business development approach.
Performance Analysis & Reporting
- Analyze sales pipeline data and performance metrics to evaluate effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on pipeline status, Opportunity & pipeline forecasts, and revenue projections.
- Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize marketing effort, pipeline operations and sales effectiveness to drive business growth.

- Additional responsibilities as required to ensure performance as strategy and markets evolve.
To be successful, we think you need:
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field (Sales/Management/Marketing) preferred.
- Directly related experience may be substituted for Education.
