Position overview

In this role, the Director, Regional Marketing is responsible for overseeing and driving marketing strategies and activities, including creating demand through third parties, events, and partners. This role requires a combination of critical thinking, team leadership, market expertise, and the ability to align marketing efforts with business goals.

*This role will be Hybrid and the successful candidate will be expected to work onsite from the Toronto office on a regular basis.

Responsibilities and Deliverables
  • Funnel Creation: Working with the Director of Marketing Campaign Strategy to develop impactful, results-driven campaigns, own the funnel and buyer journey from awareness through decision to bring in new leads, convert to MQLs, and provide an accelerated buyer journey experience.
  • Optimization and Efficiency: Consistently optimize and refine marketing channels to ensure reach of new contacts, efficient spend, and experiment with third parties, content syndication, webinars, events, and partners. Track and scrutinize pipeline sources from lead creation to revenue to optimize and adjust; provide regular updates to collaborators.
  • Partner Marketing: Support building a regional partner marketing program to enhance customer acquisition and pipeline growth goals.
  • Events Marketing: Align event portfolio to support corporate strategy through proprietary and third-party events. Increase brand awareness and preference through presence and on-site messaging and engagement.
  • People Leader: Coach Events and Partner Marketing Manager to success through mentoring, direction, and collaboration to achieve demand gen goals through events presence and co-marketing with key partners.
  • Performance Indicators: MQL, Pipeline, Conversion, ICP MQLs, ICP Pipeline, ICP Conversion Rate
Organizational alignment
  • This role reports directly into the VP, Demand Gen and Field Marketing
  • This role is supported by an Events and Partner Marketing Manager
Qualifications

SKILLS & WORK TRAITS

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field or experience.
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing, with a proven track record of successful marketing programs and results.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to lead and influence.
  • Proficiency in marketing software and analytics tools, with a data-driven approach to campaign creation and optimization.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and prioritize multiple projects.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to four times a year

Technical Competencies

REQUIRED:

  • Extensive experience in the development and execution of demand generation strategies, including third-party/content syndication, digital, and email marketing
  • Proficiency in marketing automation platforms and customer relationship management (CRM) software to understand workflows and support to create demand
  • Ability to work with marketing analytics tools to track campaign performance, analyze data, and generate insights
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools to create meaningful reports and dashboards
  • Familiarity with marketing technology tools and platforms, including marketing automation software
  • Awareness of data privacy regulations like GDPR, and the ability to ensure marketing campaigns align with these regulations
Education
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or a related field or experience
