Director, Supply Chain Operations Finance

The Director, Supply Chain Operations Finance will be a key member of the FP&A team, enabling and supporting the Supply Chain Operations organization as a trusted advisor.  The Supply Chain Operations organization manages the product supply chain and contract manufacturing partners.

The Director will support all financial aspects of Supply Chain Operations organization, including budgeting, forecasting and reporting of financial and operational metrics. A successful candidate will be responsible for surfacing and presenting key business insights and recommendations to senior operations business leadership and finance.  

SHOULD YOU ACCEPT THIS CHALLENGE...
  • Business partner with Supply Chain Operations leadership to drive all finance related aspects including cost and headcount management, operating and capital expense optimization 
  • Become the main Interface to Data for the Operations organization, by working through Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and other key functions to provide one consolidated interface for data and analysis
  • Develop and maintain a financial review rhythm with the business leadership that will enable a predictable and recurring process delivering high visibility into the performance of the key business and financial metrics. This includes building analysis and self-service reporting for metrics that are consistent so the business can pull this information “on-demand”
  • Drive an end-to-end budgeting process to ensure that all CapEx and OpEx is budgeted for. Help Operations executives manage their budgets in the most efficient way by anticipating needs and influencing correct investment decisions. This Finance person will also need to be able to share company finance constraints around budget planning to ensure prioritization is effective
  • Work with the Operations leadership team to ensure that expense forecasting is accurate
  • Ability to create and drive simulation scenarios of the P&L to provide options to the business
  • Ability to recognize when we’ve outgrown a process and therefore restructure the way we do business to scale 
  • Ability to take data, understand the business context and impact, and then tell a story around what the data means and what we should do about it
  • Collaborate with the Cost Accounting team on monthly and quarterly close to report and analyze variances and completeness of financial results
  • Collaborate with business partners and accounting to identify and implement process and reporting improvements

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THIS POSITION...
  • Recent, relevant experience supporting a supply chain operations organization as a finance business partner, preferably at a Hardware company
  • Finance, Accounting, Economics BS degree or equivalent, MBA a plus
  • 12+ Years of increasing FP&A responsibilities
  • Ability to partner cross-functionally, through strong relationship building and communication skills, with all levels of management
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, project management, and financial modeling abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to drive change management
  • Experience with NetSuite, Salesforce, Tableau, and Anaplan software a plus

You will be based in Santa Clara. As this is an office-centric role, you are expected to be present in the office for 3 days a week. As outlined in Pure's Hybrid Work Policy, there will be variations over periods of time, depending on business need.

Pay Transparency Statement

Salary ranges are determined based on role, level and location. For positions open to candidates in multiple geographical locations, the base salary range is reflective of the labor market across the applicable locations. This role may be eligible for incentive pay and/or equity.

Pay Range: USD $200,000.00 - USD $320,000.00
