As a Distinguished Engineer, you will lead the architecture for Pinterest’s advertiser experience and measurement platform, while also pioneering the next-gen GenAI-powered tools for sales and marketing effectiveness. 

What you’ll do:

  • Architect and evolve systems that support campaign lifecycle management, targeting workflows, performance analytics, creative optimization. 
  • Define the technical standards for attribution models conversion pipelines, measurement integrations (e.g:, MMP’s, clean rooms, tags etc.)
  • Lead the development of AI-powered Sales assistant to identify whitespace opportunities and recommend targeting strategies, while aligning advertiser demand with Pinterest supply. 
  • Collaborate with Sales and engineer, data science to understand advertiser performance on the platform and opportunities to build new ad solutions and products that leverage our latest innovations on visual and multi-modal search capabilities. 
  • Champion engineering excellence and a data driven culture, mentor senior tech talent and represent Pinterest externally in the tech and AI communities. 

What we’re looking for:

  • 15+ years of experience in engineering leadership roles, including building scalable platforms for ads, experimentation, Analytics and measurement. 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Deep understanding of digital marketing, adtech. 
  • Experience with real time systems, experimentation science, formulating and analyzing AB testing and other causal inference methods. 
  • Demonstrated innovation in Applied AI and leveraging genAI for enterprise tooling, knowledge retrieval or to build recommender or decision support agents. 
  • proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives that span product, GTM, platform and science. 
  • Excellent communication skills, ability to articulate technical ideas to external and internal business audiences.
