About the Team:

This role brings together aspects of our Network Development team and Global Regulatory and Public Affairs team to help support our US commercial readiness. The Network Development team defines and executes the network strategy, working with our commercial partners to establish the required infrastructure network. We support our commercial partners in the design, permitting and construction of landing infrastructure for the launch of their service. The Global Regulatory and Public Affairs team is working to build relationships with stakeholders across the globe to ensure infrastructure readiness along with ensuring the relevant rules and legislation are in place to facilitate the Lilium business model.

The Role:

We are looking for a strategic planner, executor and relationship manager to support our infrastructure and commercial integration in the US and broader Americas. The Ecosystem Manager, Americas, will be part of the Commercial team in the US. You will work closely with the members of the Sales, Network, Business Marketing and Airline Operations teams. Your contribution will be key for Lilium’s go-to-market strategy, ensuring the establishment of a foothold in the Americas prior to first operations and the execution of relevant partnerships.

Your Day to Day:

Support the development of the commercial strategy by assessing, prioritizing, and advancing new and established markets, partners and government agencies to ensure the necessary infrastructure is ready for the Lilium Jet.

  •  Scaling Lilium’s go-to-market strategy within Americas to a region-by-region strategy to determine regional plans for market readiness.
  •  Work with GRPA, Sales, Business Marketing and Airline Operations teams to define service offering use cases and infrastructure products
  •  Manage multiple partnerships and projects end-to-end
  •  Working closely with the teams at the headquarters, develop proposals for landing infrastructure in accordance with local standards
  •  Lead partnership contract negotiations and execute infrastructure partnerships, working closely together with other corporate teams
  •  Establish a project controlling and manage projects to time and budget
  •  Assess and manage project risks and opportunities
  •  Provide technical support to sales, including building and pitching regional strategies

Your Profile:

  • 3-5 years related experience with a proven track record of independently managing strategic projects and partnerships with a wide range of  stakeholders and a high degree of ambiguity 
  • Experience building and executing strategies in a Tier 1 firm (management consulting or investment banking) and/or aviation/airports industry or  fast-paced environments
  • Proven track record of rapid, on time/budget execution at highest project management standards
  • Strong academic background especially in business, engineering, architecture, and/or law a plus
  • Sound commercial orientation
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken (German language skills a strong plus)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able and comfortable working in a developing, fluid and constantly changing company, as well as handling multiple priorities while constantly meeting deadlines
